Perdan's First Newspaper!
Light of Fountain, Revealed...
Some of you may not know much of this realm, but I'm sure a few do! For those that don't I'll start with the basics.

Light of Fountain (hereby referred to as LoF) is a rather coastal realm on the east side of the East Island. Made up by 5 regions, it has grown from it's original 3.

It's ruler, Lycastus, established the realm as a Theocracy, centered around his religion, Light of Fontan. Since it's creation, it survived threats from Sirion. Fontan was just a bit annoyed, seeing as they lost their largest city, and the city that once served as their capital (hence the name, Fontan). Sirion, demanded peace with Fontan under threat of invasion.

Already, about a month after their creation, they have started up a newspaper, called No Space Press, which appears to have gotten the name from the teachings of their religion.

EIDA Expansion Under Way!
Yes, that's right readers, the East Island Dueling Association (EIDA) has begun work on another guildhouse! Unfortunately, it's not the capital, but it is closer! Dimwood! Just west of Partora, the recent appointment of a new Count there has allowed us to expand to Dimwood. It was actually the Count's idea.

In other news, we may also be expanding to Light of Fountain, as there has been discussions between Kagurati Tian (my brother and EIDA Co-Founder) and a local lord there. Hopefully these discussions go well, and the EIDA will finally be located in two realms!

Kokanee Resigns, Naira Takes over...
In Perdan, there has recently been a change in power, as far as the Judge position goes.

Claiming to have not enough time to oversee the actions of Perdans 130-some nobles, Kokanee resigned. Following the resignation, a vote was taken, and Naira elected the new Judge. Almost immediately, she fined a good number of nobles (over the course of four-five days) for, for the most part, failiure to follow orders. A few nobles were banned altogether.

As Perdan's tax rate was going down, these fines and bans will hopefully reshape Perdan's economy... Or atleast reshape the way nobles use their tax funds.
