First Strike
September 29, 1012

The first big battle has been fought, and a lot of blood has been spilled, on Dunnera soil. In the region of Negev a large Caligus force moved in to attack the defending Dunnera force. Very outnumbered the Dunnera army prepared the defenses, and to many from the outside it seemed like they would be overrun. This was not the case. They held strong and stood ready to face their outnumbered foe. Caligus fought hard to try and bring down the defending Dunnera forces but at the end of the day they could not. This was a huge battle for the history books, a huge stand from a small realm defending against a large. Will this make a difference in the overall of things though?

War or Extermination?
September 28, 1012

It finally came to be, Caligus has declared war on Dunnera and the armies are marching. Is this a real war though? The stats are staggering in Caligus favor, and reports saying Fontan city has lost most of it's defenses and military structures, it would seem there is little to nothing Dunnera can do. The only possible option would be for them to get to Krimml asap and hope to hold out there, or have another realm take Krimml and it give it to them before being destroyed. Is there any realms that would be so supportive though? Doubtful. We hope the war does not take the toll that past realms took in the same area and hope the death toll is at a minimum, it is never good to see lives lost.

New War Brewing?
September 21, 1012

Things seem to be heating up between Caligus and a realm they helped create, Dunnera. It has been said that Caligus is finding Dunnera to be a corrupted realm, and one that needs to fight for their survival. Dunnera has denied being corrupt, as expected, and is preparing to defend themselves should war be brought to them. It is currently unclear on how the rest of the continent stands on this ordeal.

Five Rogues
September 8, 1012

As of today there are exactly five rogue regions left. The five rogue regions include: The city of Krimml, the mountains of Bursa, the mountains of Mines of Isadril, the rural region of Moyale, and the rural region of Skezard. The city of Krimml we know will not remain rogue as Dunnera will be taking the city. What of the other four? Skezard has been taken a few times by Sirion but it seems they are unable to hold the little island rural region, will they give it another shot in their time of peace? Bursa sits right between Perdan and Caligus capital, but who holds the claim? The same can be said for Moyale, it is roughly equal distance from Caligus and Perdan capitals. Perhaps they will split them, each get one, or perhaps one will simply claim both. Do we know? No, but we are very interested in finding out. What of the Mines of Isadril though? With Caligus in control of the city of Isadril it would be logical for them to hold the claim, but there is also Eponllyn and Armonía to think about as they could also try to claim the region. That is it everyone, five rogue regions of which two can't be taken by others and the other three are likely to be claimed already as well. With the continent coming to another close on the rogue regions...when will realms start declaring war for more?

Ibladesh Taken!
September 7, 1012

Eponllyn has taken the city of Ibladesh! As per the treaty between Armonía and Eponllyn stated, it gave claim to the city to Eponllyn but this paper is a little confused as didn't both Perdan and Caligus state that neither realm could have the city? It should be very interesting to see if there is any...retribution to come upon Eponllyn for taking the city, and if there is, what will Armonía do?

September Power Rankings
September 7, 1012

First Place: Sirion - Finally an end to their war, and another region goes to Dunnera. How does this influence Sirion? They have one less region to care for and no war to worry about so expect to see them put gold in their overwhelming treasuries, troops prepared and ready to march and a huge stockpile of food for war time. This economic and military power is well in control of the north and in a solid first place.

Second Place: Perdan - The military might alone could hold Perdan in second place, and backed by some of the finest gold producing and food producing regions this realm seems invincible. With the numbers they produce and maintain it's a scary thought what will happen to the next realm they declare war on.

Third Place: Caligus - Holding third is the economy of Caligus. Their military seems to have taken a hit recently, perhaps loss of Fontan City could have a part in that, but at any rate if things don't turn around in Caligus we could see a new third place soon.

Fourth Place: Westmoor - Surging in military might all this realm is lacking is a stronger economy. Good shape in food and gold but not as much as their northern or southern competition. Similar to Perdan in placing the value of the military but in need of more financial backing from their regions to move up.

Fifth Place: Armonía - Winning the war, holding a very good military and having a good economy we see Armonía move up a rank. Will they be able to hold it and perhaps move up further in the rankings or will this be a short lived boost? Time will tell.

Sixth Place: Nivemus - We see a slight drop off in the rankings, only one spot though. Having fought in no wars thus far, and having less of an economy and military then Armonía but still holding out better then Eponllyn, will Nivemus turn around and boost themselves back up in the rankings or have they stalled?

Seventh Place: Eponllyn - Holding solid in seventh, the good military and very good economy of Eponllyn could be seeing a boost in the rankings as their new city of Ibladesh begins to grow. A strong food producing realm will see a huge drop in their food but also a huge increase in their income.

Eighth Place: Obsidian Islands - The economy grew a little more as the mainland regions are still growing, military might has also slightly increased. No wars recently to help raise or drop in the stats, nothing much going on here as of late.

Ninth Place: Dunnera - Rebuilding from the ashes of a lost Fontan is no easy task, but the nobles of Dunnera are determined and doing excellent work all around. Already seeing a very nice increase in their economy and military this realm won't be holding last rank much longer.
