His Lordship (?)

The following has been transcribed from records kept by agents of Clan Neill during the early era of their ascendancy under Dread Lord Ender, then only a warrior in Hid Coi's Barony of Makar.

A man approached our house today seeking payment for information on a member of the Clan. The man was a messenger, foreign in nature. According to the courier, he found a man lying in the middle of the road to Makar, a deep gash on his face. He described the man as having blond hair and a blond beard that was matted with blood. Let this record note that blond hair is not common in our family line. The man claims he helped the wounded viking to the docks, upon the viking's demands, and placed him aboard a slaver ship after the viking insisted he knew the captain.

As they parted, the courier claims the man gave him the name "His Lordship Neill" and told him payment would be owed for his services by our Clan for aiding him. While it is likely the foreigner placed a viking on a slaver ship, this agent doubts whether or not it was a member of Clan Neill. The courier was paid in a single copper and he complained that I was cheap. I threatened his life and sent him on his way.

Addendum: I followed up on the list of vessels in the area that day and found that the only slaver ship docked in Makar was known as The Sea Maid and was bound for the New World. Whoever they took is not the Clan's problem now.

(OOC: I had this character for only a short time. When I tried to emigrate with him he was deleted because of some bug. Probably a good thing, his name was pretty terrible)
