O'Shea Family/Emmitt

His Story

Emmitt left Bolgar in search of adventures, and headed to the South-East Island realm of Ikalak. He fought in many battles there and eventually became a Hero. He was a trusted and reliable noble in the realm, and earned the dangerous job of Forward Scout by Prime Minister Alanna Anaris. He set out from Ikalak City with 7 of his most trusted Archers and his best Scouts, unfortunately never to return.

They traveled to Lestham, where he was to monitor the activities of the Taselak Army. After a few days he noticed that Lestham was heavily traveled and his men had to often avoid Taselak patrols, so he requested to be stationed in the neighboring region of Segglin. There were very few patrols there, and he could still gather reports of his assigned regions. But Alanna foolishly denied his requests, and ordered him to remain in Lestham.

After a few days, he and his men were spotted by a large contingent of Taselak forces. The odds were 100 - 8, but Emmitt and his men bravely made their stand. They managed to take down 11 Taselak soldiers, but eventually they all fell, including Emmitt. His tale is the epitomy of the O'Shea House motto, "Duty unto death", and his name is forever etched into the Hero's Record of Ikalak.
