Nomudou/Contact the Spirits

Donning his white prayer robes, Samuel entered his private prayer chamber and made ready to contact the spirits. First he made the brew that would open his senses to their presence. Then he lit the candles and incense which would ease the transition. Finally, he began his prayers and drank the elixir. Soon he made contact, and the Spirits filled the room and his very being.

"Spirits, I introduce to you Betelgeuse Woodford. A man of many talents and as loyal as anyone I know.

I introduce to you Raych Seldon. A rising knight of Fissoa, not afraid to speak his mind.

I introduce to you Galeo. A man searching for his true identity. May you help him find it. He has done good service fighting the beasts and ghouls.

Watch over these new friends. Guide them when they wish to listen. I thank you, Spirits. I thank you."

Shuddering as he came back to reality, Samuel coughed slightly with a dry throat. Hours had passed, evidenced by the stubs of candles remaining. The trance had a way of messing with time. Concluding his prayers, Samuel put out the candles and incense and went to find a glass of water.
