Negev changes allegiance to Sirion 23 May 1012
The Fontanese region of Negev has changed allegiance to Sirion after the region lord decided to switch sides in a desperate attempt to avoid Caligan supremacy. This echoes (although obviously different in that a region lord took a direct decision in Negev) Commonyr which switched sides to Sirion through rebellion. Sirion has decided that they will keep Commonyr even though they’ve done nothing in the current war to gain a region and continue to threaten Westmoor with war should we expand into any Fontanese regions. Sirion is again trying to play Puppet Master of the north much as it has done so in the past months.
Squiggy Schumacher executed
Squiggy Schumacher Westmoor’s one infiltrator yesterday was executed by Fontan. Squiggy undertook undercover missions in Fontanese regions burning food and other minor crimes but ultimately after being captured a second time faced an aggressive execution by the Fontanese. This comes as no surprise to Westmoor after our own executions of recent Fontanese infiltrators however seems a little harsh on a noble who never even attempted to murder a Fontanese noble. Fontan has also been executing any Westmoorian adventurers that they are able to pick up showing them to be basically attacking Westmoor with whatever means they can – no matter what the moral cost.
End of the Church of Ibladesh
The church of Ibladesh is currently a phrase that sends shivers down the spine of any ruler. “Not in my realm” is the usual reaction as opposed to the political or military persecution that would follow otherwise. The church of Ibladesh was created a long long time ago inadvertently by the now extinct realm of Rancagua (half resurrected some might say as Nivemus out of the Sultanate’s ashes). Rancagua’s terms were steep forcing Ibladesh into being a puppet trading realm and more so into becoming a Theocracy which meant they had to have a religion to worship (this was in return for saving them from the realm of Ubent). This led to the creation of the Church of Ibladesh which at the height of it’s power was in control of the entire south of the East continent from Perdan’s duchy of Aix all the way down to Isadril. The now ruined city of Ibladesh used to contain one of the largest temples on the continent spanning three blocks.

Thus it seems that the mighty church of Ibladesh has finally come to an end as support and belief for them has fast faded around the continent. The realm of Ibladesh itself has also faded from the map with a brief goodbye when Ibladeshi priests took over Ibladesh city and handed it to Armonia in a political move that caused great strain in that realm. Let’s all bid a respectful farewell for the CoI (even if for many of us it’s with a dagger held behind our back ready to finish it off if ever it comes back).

Strange things afoot! 20 May 1012
This paper is never one to alarm its readers unnecessarily but the end is nigh. Strange reports have been coming in across the country of Traders being abducted by bright lights in the middle of the night. When they were released they would find their ox carts and all of their food gone with strange memories of little green men with sharp knives. Warehouses across the continent were miraculously transformed into granaries and filled with all sorts of food. In Morshes a peasant uprising caused by the king was successful several times and each time the peasants changed their mind at the last minute deciding to remain rogue. Thousands of new miraculous births were recorded across the continent as well as strange inaccuracies in official documents. The signs must now be obvious. Armageddon is upon us – I will be praying in the ruins of the church of humanity in Greatbridge for a quick and painless death. May the gods have mercy on our souls.
Ibladesh cedes to Armonia
The remaining Ibladeshi region of Ibladesh decided to change allegiance to Armonia. Shortly after this it appears as if the region has rebelled. This will be the first time since the persecution of the Ibladeshi priests began that the realm of Ibladesh has actually disappeared from the map. This might also be somewhat due to the difficulties we’ve experienced in the region of Morshes where religious persuasion seems to be ineffective during the Armageddon. Ibladesh’s ceding to Armonia is a last ditch move by the realm and possibly an attempt to integrate themselves into Armonia. It will be interesting to see whether Perdan and Caligus accept or reject this move.
Tele Vesata executed
Thanks to our judge Antonius Turner, the assassin Tela Vesata we reported back on the 7th for attempting to murder our king was caught a few days ago and executed in Westmoor. Westmoor will not tolerate the underground attempts by Fontan to assault government positions. It is a good day to see justice served to Fontan which continues to disintegrate due to the efforts of the three realms involved.

King Jor Stabbed! 7 May 1012
While in the region of Greatbridge King and Arch Priest Jor Tanos was set upon stabbed and seriously wounded by the Fontanese infiltrator Dame Tela Vasata. This would allow her to collect the one thousand gold bounty on King Jor’s head.
Diplomatically Fontan has yet again pulled off another Fontanese disaster as King Jor had sent Fontan a request for terms of their surrender. This is continual living proof that Fontan cannot be trusted. If they imagine attempting to assassinate out King will endear us in the surrender terms they really must have some arrows stuck in their brains - or perhaps they still expect Perdan Caligus and Westmoor to surrender? Surely Fontan has no intention of survival.

Fontan's Capitol city breached! 1 May 1012
It’s nice to start the beginning of the month with some good news and that being the joint storming of Krimml city by Westmoor and Perdan forces. There was very little resistance as Fontan’s army was out of the city from the recent battles with Caligus in Oporto. Some small militia forces were present in the city led by Arian and Arianne of Fontan. Some clever boys from Perdan had thought to bring along a couple of siege engines which really helped getting over those walls.
A second battle also happened but this was against peasants and is scarcely worth reporting. It’s assumed that the Fontanese army will try to reclaim the city tomorrow. We really can’t see what else they can do at the moment. It’s nice to see this war turned round so drastically within the space of a week thanks to King Dobromir and King ][osferatu. A word of sympathy to Fontan: We hope you burn quickly.
