The LDI serves as an elite Domestic Security Force, and is the only privately funded force in Minas Leon.

The Leonian Defense Initiative

Formed originally as a coalition and partnership between the lords up Yule and Upper Tell, the Leonian Defense Initiative (and its predecessor, the Northern Defense Initiative) has served as Minas Leon's premier Domestic Security Force. Made up of Courtiers, Warriors, and Heroes, the LDI serve as a radical departure from prior attempts at Domestic Security, including a strict central command and strong advocacy for efficiency and mission.
