House Mattic was originally found in what was Carelian lands, south of the city of Nida. The noble blood of House Mattic derives from the sister of Neleron Carna, formerly the Duke of Nida. It is her children, and the kin of her husband, that spread the name of the Noble House Mattic and remember their origins. The official residence of House Mattic can now be found in Rettleville, the capital city of Barca. Their words are: Virtue Thrives Under Oppression.

Farsil Mattic

The older of the Mattic brothers in the direct line, Farsil Mattic is most known as Duke of Rettleville, the capital of Barca on Dwilight. Since his election to that seat by the Barcan Senate, he has served as an Elder in the Veinsormoot, the political body of the Maroccidens Federation. He is a layman of the religion Verdis Elementum and holds his spiritual beliefs dear. He first rose to note in his country standing atop the walls of Rettleville, the city surrounded by monsters and Barca but a new realm. He has served as Grand Rab of Barca, Senator of Celtiberia, Vice Marshal of the Phoenician Legion and Sponsors that same army. He is said to be a good host and counts a good number of friends.

Karden Mattic

As the younger of the Mattic brothers, Karden's position in his family is reflected by the title he holds. As Earl of Belegmon, a townsland outside the capital of Coria, Karden has only once left his efforts to repair Belegmon for a day to cash bonds and repair the equipment of his relatively small bodyguard. His struggles are less national or international than his older brother, instead concerned with the daily struggle of getting Belegmon on its feet and the regular need to find another noble to fill an estate in his lands. If you ask him, or even if you don't, he will regale you with figures and show definitively the potential of his lands. That he has yet to see a suitable income in his new region does little to deter his enthusiasm.

Ikaria Mattic

Sister and youngest sibling in the direct line, Ikaria is a free spirit with little idea of what she wants. She will be the first to admit it, but her independent streak has grown less applauded by the family when she decided to try her hand at hunting monsters on her own. The last anyone has heard of her, she was travelling through the midlands of the Far East Islands. As there has been no recent word, the family have sent a Knight back to that continent to investigate as best he can.

Degmend Mattic

A far shot from the deep forests of Barca or the fertile fields of southern Atamara, but Sir Degmend calls the draughty halls of Sasrhas, a city on the northern coast of the Far East Isles, as his new home. Originally sent to the Isles to search for word of his cousin Ikaria, the realm in which he arrived in found itself under attack from the largest, and newest, military power on the main island. To make matters worse, his other cousin, Lord Hilden of Arcaea, had set sail for the family home in Barca a season or two before Degmend arrived. The welcome and help he had counted on was gone. Starting from scratch and without the guidance of others, Degmend had little choice but to aid the Lords and Knights of the small realm of Ohnar West, declaring it his home and hoping that word of his fighting would reach his cousin to the south if she lived.

A season or two on and the war on the islands neared a conclusion. The titan Ohnar West fought broke up, internal strife rampant. In the last days of the war, the Strategic Commander and the Duke of Sasrhas formed and organized the Ohnar Rangers. At the hand of his liege, the Duke, he was promoted to Marshal in command of the new army with Sir Anakoi as his Vice-Marshal. One good war and the chances of finding his cousin would become much easier.

Cavor Mattic

The very definition of a young region lord. Cavor holds the title of Count of Amriel, a small rural region beyond the walls of Barad Riel. While his lands are nestled in the natural fortifications of mountains and river, Cavor became a hero while fighting Talerium and the Cagilan Empire for Eston. He has participated in both raids and stalward defenses in the name of the Crown and is one of the more vocal members of the near silent Council of Lords. A man of no personal ambition, he is principled and expects others to feel just as strongly as he on what is right, and what is wrong.
