The Malxoq Family is a small house from just outside the City of Avamar, and is led by Garlyn Malxoq, father to Kolya and Caelin. Their manor, east of Avamar City, was burned prior to the Battle of Avamar, and most of the family has taken up lodgings inside the city. The Family has used as its sigil for generations a white field adorned with a single black eye.

Active

Kolya, the Obsidian-Eyed (Kalmar Islands)

Following the fall of Avamar, Kolya made his way to Oligarch to continue fighting the his foes of Sirion, Fontan, and Old Rancagua. He was involved in the events of Operation Rubber Chicken in which he and several others were set up as traitors to Oligarch and were banished, finding themselves in Old Rancagua with the mission to start a rebellion and take over the nation to sow discord and perhaps, with luck, keep control of the realm for the purpose of turning it against Sirion. He later returned to Oligarch which was followed by brief stays in Light of Fountain and Perdan. Currently Kolya finds himself in the realm of Kalmar Islands.

Inactive

Adelheit, the Violet-Eyed (Missing)

Adelheit Malxoq is sister to the twins Kolya and Caelin. Much of her attention in life has been focused on the past, though not the recent past. Her interest is on the long, long ancient past. It is her belief that the gods who created the world chose to become mortal and live in the world they created and they were the first men. She believes the gods were the ancestors of all people of all nationalities and continents. After long years of research she has decided to venture out into the world in search of the City of the First, the most ancient city in the world, founded by the gods. The first place she is searching is Atamara, where she is exploring and searching for clues that will lead her to the city. Her unit is known as the Violet Eyes.

Caelin, the Amber-Eyed (Deceased)

Caelin Malxoq, twin brother of Kolya, fearing the imminent destruction of Avamar, ventured forth to the other side of East Island and found himself in Ubent. Although initially expressing displeasure at the state of the realm, after being accused of being a rat escaping a drowning he chose to remain in the realm and work towards bettering Ubent. He later moved to Oligarch so that he could better aid the fight against the scum of Fontan and Sirion. Following the fall of Avamar city Caelin felt he had abandoned his home, and subsequently commited suicide out of combined grief and guilt. Caelin's unit was known as the Amber Eyes and he carried with him a banner of House Malxoq with an amber coloured eye instead of a black one.

Delvair, the Watcher (Missing)

Delvair was a thirteen-year-old street boy when Kolya first took him into service as a messenger; since then the two have developed a strong bond. Delvair fought at Kolya's side during the Battle of Avamar, and despite his young age found admirably. In light of Delvair's loyalty to both Kolya and Avamar, Garlyn Malxoq allowed Kolya to bring Delvair into the family. The young boy now commands the unit the Watchers on the Wall.

Nikael, the Emerald-Eyed (Missing)

Unlike his cousins, Nikael chose to venture across the sea to the Far East and resided in Ethiala. Following a dispute with the leadership of Ethiala, however, he was asked to leave the realm and found himself fighting for the Highland Empire, the realm in whose defense he had spoken out against Lasanar and Daran. Nikael is fiercely loyal to those he follows but his moral beliefs of honour a justice can supersede that loyalty. He has taken a green eye as his personal emblem and bears a white banner bearing a green eye as well as naming his unit the Emerald Eyes. Nikael and his friend Andros Black have dissapeared from the Far East. Their location is unknown and they are feared dead.
