Lissambar stands in the middle of the great forest of Sirion. Humans and elves live here together respecting the old trees who were the first calling this region home. Lissambar is scarcely populated, only small settlements dot the dense forest, and only one major city can be found in the region.

The economy in Lissambar is based on woodcutting: timber is collected all troughout the region and then transported to Lissa, the main city, situated on the road connecting Sirion to Slimbar. In Lissa logs are manifactured into beautiful furnitures or directly shipped elsewhere. Some of the finest lumber is used for crafting bows used by the Lissambar Longbows, the local archer force.

Only the purest wood pieces coming from the famed ancient white oaks are sent in heavy guarded caravans to Rollbar, where they are turned into the bows wielded by the mighty Eleadorian Valkyries.

Deep into the forest, shaded by the huge trees, a small temple of the Church of the Holy Sacred Grove can be found. Even if it is only a small enclave, his position deep into the forest makes this temple an oasis of peace and wisdom, where the druids are used to gather in numbers. The task of defending this holy site is up to the Sacred Grove Knights, a light cavalry division trained in Lissa.

Near the west border, atop a rocky hill, stands the academy of the Elven Harlequins. An elite force of highly disciplined warriors skilled in javelin throw and melee combat, this fearsome warriors are usually employed as an elite force inside the Army of Sirion.

The former Count of Lissambar was Moby Scallywag, General of Sirion. Since 06-03-2008 the Lord is Meristenzio Peristaltico, Marshal of the Army of Sirion.
