Kole - Former Kaiser of Virovene
Kole is a fighter and a winner. He is average height, roughly 5 foot 7 inches, but very broad in the shoulder. He has brown hair and eyes and a relatively standard facial features, apart from his scar, which stretches from his forehead to his left cheek, traveling directly through his eye. The damage turned his iris from brown to white and the whites of his eyes blood red. The scar was gained during his first command, when a small raid on a bandit camp became a blood bath. Kole keeps the scar visible to remind himself the price of failure. He is normally a patient man, although buracracy can drive him to distraction, especially when it interferes with his duties.
In battle he wields either a warhammer or a sword named Vicious, a blade he found in an ancient barrow on his family's estate.
He was originally a member of the realm of Springdale in Dwilight. For his time in Springdale he was rewarded with the lordship of the region of Croton by then Duke Cato of Muspelheim and worked hard to restore it to its former glory after the quick succession of lords falling to what became known as the "Curse of Croton", which had led to the regions slow decline.
After the secession of the Muspelheim duchy to found the new realm of Virovene, Croton, Kole and his knights became a part of Virovene. For this sacrifice Kaiser Cato appointed him the Justicar, High Judge of Virovene, to uphold the laws of this new realm. His first act was to work upon the Codes of War for Independence. He fought long and hard with his brethren to secure peace for his people in their new realm. After much fighting and blood spilled the War of Succession came to an end, with Virovene the victor.
As Justicar of Virovene he took his duties seriously, and tried to be as objective as possible when dealing with both commoners and Nobles. After a series of unfortunate circumstances within Virovene, Kole was eventually elected Kaiser , vowing to rule where many had failed. He was pitied by some for inheriting a 'Poisoned Chalice', as described by some, as the position had killed many before him. But he vowed that as long as he was able he would rule Virovene, and try to bring peace to its troubled boarders.
However, his reign was short, as The death of Kaiser Cato left a power vacuum that Kole could not fill. It was too much too fast, and some believe that his quick ascendancy did not give Virovene time to adapt, and it eventually the realm decayed and died. Kole was distraught as the realm died, and for a time he and a few of his loyal followers wandered the wilderness looking for answers.
He is also a Commander of the Temple within the religion of Sanguis Astroism. After he lost his realm he spent time preaching the word to his followers whilst he wandered the wilderness.
