Departure

Well, since we don't seem to have any real news, I have decided to announce that my family and I are leaving, and may be fading into the history books. I do not know when or if we will return, but I hope we do. We are undergoing a crisis, and our return is indefinite. I am sad, but I must say goodbye, and good luck to you all. Since I'm leaving, I decided I might as well write an article, so you will all have something to remember me by, a last article.

Itor Boss gained!

As part of Itorunt's progress regarding region trades, the region of Itor Boss was handed over in a short ceremony today. After so long, Itorunt is finally reunited with it's ancestral lands. Soon to follow is Betholm, an event we very much look forward to.

Congratulations are also due to Valdid, an editor here at the II, who was awarded with the title of countess of Itor Boss.

Combined with one of Itorunt's best taxes in a very long while, good things are on the horizon, it seems.

We're getting repetitive

We apologise for (1) the lack of interesting news and (2) the lack of any news whatsoever. Truth is, life is boring, there's no wars to fight, no scandals to uncover, only lots of tournaments. Which leads me nicely on to my next point.

The tournament in Perdan was another huge affair - many nobles from across the continent assembled to celebrate the wedding of Nightmare, Duke of Perdan, and Lady Stefany Bachelor. Throughout the tournament, there was much revelry, with much drinking and even a bar fight breaking out when Maelg Vallejo tried to smack me round the back of the head with a beer tankard.

Another (fairly unexpected) event was the proposal of Aram to Balkeese, an unexpected but happy turn of events. There was even more drinking (just before the tournament) for this event - the editors of the II wish the couple the best of luck.

As for results, I unsurprisingly dominated the tournament - showing 95%, the highest recorded skill ever seen, in the sword, and meeting and beating my only competition within 15% of my skills in the 4th round - commiserations to Ambrosius for his bad luck of the draw - and came in with the victory, winning 700 gold. The Duke of Aix, Screndt, won the jousting session, possibly due to the notable absence of Lancelot of Fontan from the proceedings.

A good time was had by all, with everyone coming out of it with something - such as Ichigo and his pie.

And as one ends, so too does another begin...

Yet another tournament! Yay!

Report from Evangeline
Message sent to the Rulers of this world (11 recipients)
I am happy to announce Perdan's tournament as part of the celebration of the marriage of Nightmare, Duke of Perdan and former King, to Lady Stefany of the Bachelor family.

We will also be celebrating Perdan's new found peace, good friends and saying farewell our dear city, Partora.

Please ensure every noble receives my warm invitation to come and share the celebrations. :)

Evangeline
Queen of Perdan

Evangeline, Queen of Perdan today announced a tournament with a first place prize of 700 gold and a runners up prize of 300 gold to be held in Partora 9 days from now.

As always, Itorunt hopes to make a good show, and this paper's editors certainly have the great skills necessary.

Already influential nobles such as Duke Robert have departed for the tournament, though those of us with the well-being of our soldiers to look after are somewhat delayed.

We will keep you updated with news and turnout as they roll in.

Sirion Tournament over!

The tournament held by Sirion in Sirion City ended yesterday. According to the scribes there was a total of 277 nobles present from 11 realms, meaning all but one realm had someone to represent them!

As the tournament came to a close, Prime Minister Handow of Sirion said a few words to all at the tournament before we commenced our great show of skill.

Report from Handow
Sirion welcomes each realm and noble to the Elven homeland.

It is great to see such fine soldiers from around the world. I hope all of you have enjoyed your stay in Sirion and I will welcome any of you back during peaceful times.

Now since I can't join any tournament the next best thing is to watch great swordfighting and jousting. As with many of you I'm ready to see this tournament started!

Good Luck to you all!

Sir Handow
Prime Minister of Sirion

Many nobles of Itorunt fared well in the tournament, but due to the large number of nobles able to come, Itorunt did not fare as well as in the Ubent tournament. The II offers its congratulations to Kokanee (1st in swordfighting), San (2nd in swordfighting), Sparky (1st in jousting), and Melkor (2nd in jousting). Hopefully, when Itorunt hosts its own tournament, we will see the same amount of nobles participate!
