News War News An alliance between the realms of Itorunt and Caligus was announced this morning. This alliance was not too surprising, considering our realms are working together with Perdan against our common enemies. The alliance simplifies matters with regard to our diplomatic relations. In other news, the realm of Tuchanon V initiated a takeover of the region of Itor Boss, but later found that wasn't necessary. The reason it was made unnecessary was the forgery of a document. This document proclaimed that Rah Arya, a member of Tuchanon V, held a claim to the region. This is especially interesting considering that Rah only arrived on the East Continent about a week ago. The local guards were intelligent enough to see through this absurd deception and decided to fight back. Here is the official announcement: Region Lost to Corruption Local government officials in Itor Boss announced earlier today that according to ancient documents, Rah, a noble from Tuchanon V, who happened to coincidentally be in the region at that time, holds an ancient and undisputable claim to lordship of Itor Boss. They officially handed control of the region over to him and Tuchanon V! Shortly afterwards, the responsible officials were nowhere to be found. Fortunately, the militia units stationed in Itor Boss were not so easily fooled and have begun a guerilla war. We shall hopefully expel these slow-witted invaders shortly. --Ichigo Another Revolt In much the same way as Zawr left Ibladesh and decided to join our realm, the people of Clermont unexpectedly revolted from Perdan and joined us as well. We believe this was due to the low statistics of the region while under Perdan's control, as our allies were preoccupied elsewhere for the most part. This interesting development shall be worked into our plans accordingly. Whether Perdan shall ask for the region back, either now or later, is yet to be seen. The Itorunt Informer will bring you the latest information on the topic as it becomes available. --Ichigo Domus Taken? It seems the city of Domus has changed hands from Yssaria to Caligus. This is the first time the region has changed hands since the previous Caligus-Yssaria war long ago, though it was the other realm that was on our side that time. Upon further investigation, we found that the former Duke of Domus, Cornelius II, was wounded by an infiltrator, and the title of the region was bought by Caligus. This seems to be an important point in the war, and may be a sign of the downfall of Yssaria. We'll keep you updated as the war continues. --Ichigo Zawr Returns! Even though Zawr was forcefully taken, my loyal peasants returned the region to our side in an amusing turn of events. They stole 79 gold from the Ibladesh tax coffers, hanged the local political dunces, and vowed loyalty to us once again. Ibladesh had taken advantage of our preoccupation in the east with Tuchanon V attacking to take Zawr, but it seems they're not good at even keeping a region they've just taken over. Perdan had sent a small force to deal with the Ibladeshi forces in Zawr and our western enemies were easily defeated, who promptly turned tail and ran. We were prepared to take Zawr back in a friendly manner, unlike that of the Ibladeshis, but it seems Ibladesh's incompetence has made that no longer necessary. The Itorunt Informer gives its thanks to the realm of Ibladesh for giving it some comedy material to publish in this time of war. --Ichigo Taken Again, Lost Again The great realm of Itorunt has once again taken the region of Aeng from our enemy, Tuchanon V. Tuchanon did not seem to put up much real resistance to our attack on their newly acquired lands. We were able to retake the region fairly easily, and King Lucian reappointed Roberto Argas as Count of Aeng. On the eastern front, Ibladesh once again attacked my region of Zawr and once again brutally attempted to take over the region. They succeeded in doing so, but it is only a matter of time until we repel this nuisance and take our lands back once more. I believe this is their third or fourth attempt to take over the region, but, as history has shown, they will never gain the advantage. In the meantime, during their many pointless attacks on Zawr, many of their lands have been ravaged and taken over by our ally, Perdan. This leads me to really wonder who's leading Ibladesh's military and wonder what their long-term plan in this war is. --Ichigo Itor Boss Gets a New Lord Duke Dal van Belhanka of Xavax appointed a lord to the region of Itor Boss today. The council decided to reward Muzhol's innumerable years of loyal service to our great realm by granting him the position of Count of Itor Boss. I personally knew him, as he was my first liege when I joined the army so long ago. I believe he was then the Count of Priotness, my home region. Though a man of few words, he served the realm loyally, and I believe he deserves this lordship. I know that he will keep the people of Itor Boss safe and happy. I wish him the best of luck. --Ichigo Yet Another New Duke As promised, High Marshal Fortin has stepped down from his temporary position of Duke of Semall so that a more permanent replacement could be appointed. King Lucian appointed Epaminonda, former Count of Itor Boss, to the position today. Seeing his resignation message for his region, I'd easily guessed what was in store, and congratulated him in advance. He made a concise acceptance speech: Thanks King Lucian, for your trust. I will make Itorunt and Semall's people proud of your choice. Thanks Lord Ichigo, I very appreciate your early congrats! Epaminonda Cranioduro Duke of Semall I'm sure his brilliance is not limited to military affairs but rather extends to governing civilians as well. The II wishes Epaminonda the best of luck as the new duke. --Ichigo
