Westmoorians,

This is a letter of tragedy and despair, my sad return to the public.

I have been absent as late because my family was the victim of a terrible disease. That unappeasable demon called disease. It reeked havoc on my family estate in Dulbin killing many of my siblings, nieces and nephews, our great uncle Soren, the patriarch of my family, and most devastating of all my wife and only son. Misery to a man who has lost his family. Misery to I, who has suffered by the hand of raging nature. I have no one to blame, no one to avenge against, and no return for what I have lost. I have transgressed against none and am still the recipient of such torture. I have been reduced to nothing, nothing but my memories of a stolen happiness. Let no man presume he is invulnerable to suffering, to loss, to heartbreak, for the moment you feel in your soul you have found truth and peace, all of it is torn from you in tears.

I return to the realm as your General, but no longer as a man with love. There is no more life for me but to resume my work for this realm. I am wholly empty, and wholly your General.
