Roleplay from Vessol Mithridates

Dust from the earth mixed with the salt breeze of the nearby sea blew across the dueling grounds, with Kronogos Vessol and his entourage looking down from a bluff above.

The King of Fane, Armstrong Ironsides, faced off against Legodos Malakai of Nivemus. King Armstrong gave off a sense of collected calmness as he stood there imposingly opposite his adversary. Completely contrary to his adversary, Legodos Malakai stood there with a ravenous look on his face, his visage similar to that of a wolf ready to pounce on his prey.

A priestess of Ora as well as a few royal healers stood a good distance away, they would be needed no matter the outcome of this duel.

With only the twist of his mouth being a warning, Armstrong swelled forward towards Malakai to overrun him. The clash of steel resounding into the hills as Malakai parried the first blow and the one after that. Armstrong seemed to have the upper hand in this already and he pushed the initiative. A feint to the side by Malakai was all it took to turn the tide. Dodging from left to right in a irregular pattern, Malakai's blade cut deep into Armstrong's appendages four times. The two men arced their blades above their head one final time. Armstrong lodged his blade into Malakai's shoulder while Malakai's blade lodged itself into Armstrong's neck. His body crumpled and became lifeless.

So passed the King of Fane and Duke of Oligarch. Kronogos Vessol ordered for his body to be cleaned and made ready for burial. He would be laid to rest in the City of the White Tree, Oroya, with full honors befitting that of his rank.
