Individual Army Training

Task IAT#1 "Rally" By First Degree Felony, Eston

Task: To successfully rally in a specified location within an allotted time frame.

Condition: Given an individual army, its Marshal, second in command, with or without the King, High Marshal, or their designated representatives, move to a predetermined rally point,in an efficient manner.

This task can or will have logistical or leadership shortfalls- such as loss of marshal, change of destination etc.

Standard: To overcome all logistical shortfalls and successfully rally 80% of your units at an assigned rally point, within the time alloted. Proper reports and inter army communication are to be followed at all times ie-Marshal movement orders, TL movement and scoutings, Individual unit and Army status reports (to include cs, damage etc.) these Communications will also be evaluated for completeness, accuracy, participation, and time to post. Marshals, Deputy Marshals, and appointed leaders will also be evaluated on the completeness of their orders etc.

Scenario: Intelligence reports indicate Eston will be attacked within the next few days. Our hm has Ordered the (insert your army name here) to rally at (insert region here) within (insert time allotment) and prepare as a reactionary force to this threat. Marshal the timer Starts now!

Marshal Notes: Here is an opportunity for you to assist/train your men in a positive environment and to display and train proper leadership. If you are temporarily relieved, quiz and assist the acting marshal as to his actions. Your role is twofold not only will you be evaluated, you will also closely evaluate your men.You will also assist the High Marshal in the after action review and provide feedback for his scoring. All communications to your Army as a whole or individually need to be sent to King Andrew, and The High Marshal as well.

High Marshal Notes: You will determine the rally point location and time allotment. you will need to evaluate all communications within the unit as noted above, and insure that the Marshal forwards all communications and reports. Your role should be as an observer as much as possible so you as their High Marshal can get a "feel" as to how this Army reacts to the situations it faces.Feel free to mix things up a bit, i.e. change the rally point, assign a troop to take charge, etc. You are the primary evaluator of this task and will score it as you see fit on a scale of 0-100%. At the completion of this exercise an after action review will need to be conducted by yourself with that entire Army, to review its score, good points and issues that need additional training. Results need to be forwarded to me for record keeping.

King Andrew: Your role in this exercise is strictly to evaluate and provide feedback to the Marshal and High Marshal. You will also evaluate the training exercise for its content and provide feedback for changes to this exercise.
