The following notice has been sent across Old Grehk, to be nailed up in market places and read out at public assemblies by Royal Messengers.

His Majesty, Askarn I hereby calls on those Freemen of able body, experience and the desire of adventure to render a service to their King!

Reports of an unholy and unnatural force massing outside the borders of the Kingdom of Old Grehk have reached the Royal Court. So as to determine the truth of these tales, and to ensure the good maintainence and security of the lands and peoples of Old Grehk, His Majesty desires for those of his subjects with suitable skills to undertake a expedition and report their findings. The stories speak of strange occurances and abominations in the mountains of Qual and thus any exploration should commence there. No other lands have yet been identified as holding such a taint.

Discoveries made should be reported to the Under-Steward of the Royal Household, at Ossmat, and those of value shall be rewarded by that Officer. A Royal Pardon shall be issued for any offences against the Law of the Land committed in the furtherence of this command.
