Article I

  • IJARG stands for "International Journalistic Appropriate Reporting Guidelines".
  • IJARG guidelines are to be kept and watched by all IJARG members.
  • There is no IJARG central council, thus each newspaper is accountable to itself, and all other IJARG newspapers.

Article II

  • The IJARG is present to define how articles can be appropriately written, allowing for "journalistic creativity", and for the preservation of the truth.
  • Factual truths must NOT be lied about. (OOC- If the game says such and such a realm won a battle, then they did indeed win a battle!)
  • Facts and truths are open to interpretation. There is more than one way of looking at an event.
  • IJARG papers are committed to providing quality work, even if it is laden with bias and half-truths.

Article III

  • IJARG papers are committed to not writing, or sponsoring the writing, of any articles specifically dedicated to the insulting or "bashing" of any other paper, IJARG, OCPAU, or otherwise.
  • IJARG papers are free to slip in comments about the aforementioned other papers in articles with a clear purpose other than newspaper bashing.
  • IJARG papers are free to bash, insult, and verbally maul each other in whatever non-published form they choose(OOC- discussions).
  • IJARG papers must back up insults or mudslinging with reasons. Merely insulting a paper and saying, "You're stupid" will not suffice. We try and have quality articles, so we will have quality insults as well.
