Heironeous

He has proudly served as Grand Justiciar for the Norse Republic of Norland on several occaisions, his 'terms in office' interrupted several times by 'terms in prison' following capture in battle. He is not the sort to sit at home and swing a gavel while larger hammers are being wielded by his peers. A vocal member of the Allthing (a Council of Nobles), he is also proud to be included in the ranks of the strategic planners that form the realm's Military High Command. Among his comrades, he is more often known as "H~" or "H~man", since like that old joke, some would say the longest and hardest thing about him is his name... But it is also deemed appropriate for he is known equally for his long (and meandering) letters, speeches, and humorous stories. Last, but by no means least important, it is whispered that he has come into possession of lost lore of ancient Shiverwood, including mysterious information on a pre-historic cult that worshipped an object called "The Crystal Squirrel", and secrets of the fell Black Squirrels of Shiverwood, "Those Who Chitter In The Darkness."
