The Scarlet Mamluks

The Scarlet Mamluks were created by High Marshal Martana, to organise a band of elite Heenite warriors for defensive purposes.
The first Marshal of this army was Thrydwulf Grancourt, a promising nobleman.

Army Description: The Scarlet Mamluks are the oldest active military organization with Heen, originally founded to support the main army in battle, mainly for defensive purposes. Over time this purpose was taken more literally and the Scarlet Mamluks have grown to the elite homeguard that maintains internal order and protects Heenite soil against any invaders. Their favorite way of transport are the Heenite camels, renowned for their swiftness and endurance. Only their richly decorated, heavy armor and weaponry distinguishes them from the ordinary Heenite traveller. The army was dissolved by a sudden plague. (OOC: bug)
