Lustia

She is the Goddess of Pathos, Love, endless Passion, unstoppable Lust, and uncontrollable Hedonism. Lustia cares –personally- for all those faithful enough to offer their mortal bodies unconditionally to her treatment. She visits her subjects usually during the cold nights of winter, bringing warmth and comfort to their… souls.

The legend says, that those blessed by her night-touch can be easily recognised the next morning by their wide smile, dull behaviour, dreamful and lustful look and -more than anything else- the apparent exhaustion that has overwhelmed their bodies.

One of the main requirements to join Lustia’s Cult is to commit yourself to a constant (daily) participation to activities that praise what she represents. There is no worst sin than the abstinence from regular erotic, sensual and sexual performances. In case that sinners of this despicable kind are ever spotted amongst her followers, Lustia punishes them mercilessly using her favourite divine instrument: The Cat of Nine-tails.

The legend has it that Lustia is the most popular deity amongst Sirionites who secretly worship her. Although this is a quite strange situation, as everybody knows that elves are not widely known for their high performances on what Lustia represents, a famous Avamarian Theologist has suggested that:

"This is EXACTLY the reason why Sirionites are so fond of her. The prospect of a proper punishment looks so appealing to them that they can’t resist the temptation to join her cult. Recent evidences suggest, that hardcore Sirionites are even willing to abandon the once-a-year reproduction activities they perform (once every spring to be more specific), only to make certain that Lustia won’t forget them during her whipping visits".
