The day had all but past and the night sky had fallen dark. Luna had blessed the night and only a calm wind could be heard outside. Crickets churped outside by the meadows with an oddly slow pitch.

Back inside Soliferums lands, Diaramesis settled for the night. His quaters small was adequate enough for himself and his men. Most of his unit had fallen asleep from the long distance they had travelled that day.

Diaramesis lay awake on edge, tense and lost in his thoughts. Deciding to try go to sleep, Diaramesis lay down but found himself restless and unable to sleep.

Having a drink of wine, Diaramesis noticed an intense heat filling the room. His forehead began to swet, blurring his eyes. Unable to escape the heat he decided to leave his quarters and take a walk.

The breeze of the night felt cool to the touch. Diaramesis looked ahead spotting a beautiful lake in the distance shimmering the moonlight over its waters.

Upon arriving a large dead fish lay motionless on the ground. This part of the land had no known fishermen and Diaramesis found this strange as none of his men had fished the lake. Moving away from the fish, Diaramesis discoverd yet another but much large fish laying on the ground. The scales on this fish appeared red like a magnificant ruby gemstone. It was'nt long before a path of dead fish litterd the ground.

Following the path, voices of men in distress could be heard. Diaramesis knew his camp was in the opposite direction which only compelled him to continue onwards.

A gaint granite rock came into view with more and more dead fish filling the path. Walking around the rock the trail of dead fish ended with a large open field in sight. The voices were now clear and a large battle was taking place. Screaming men charged into battle holding swords high. Archers from the left side released a volley of at least one hundred fiery arrows lighting up the air. A rain of hissing death came down onto a large group of advancing soldiers instantly slaughtering most of them.

Diaramesis shocked could not understand how this was all happening. Behind him a voice silently called to Diaramesis. Turning around Diaramesis saw Luna in the form of burning rock. The flames were a whitish green spewing into the air. The entire event was unbelievable in Diaramesis's eyes.

No sooner than Diaramesis had turned around the night had fall silent. The soldiers, the battle, the voices had vanished. Luna instructed Diaramesis to come closer and take his shoes off, as the land he walked on was godly. Puzzled and lost, Diaramesis asked why he was here and what had happend behind him.

Luna calmly replied: "Diaramesis this night, death was not present. This is all a dream. I brought you into this state to warn you of your future. The battle you witnessed was one of many to come. The primitive nature of man has lead to war, and although unavoidable it has brought Ortedail into a state of choas. My followers have sufferd much grief and turned their hopes towards Nighthelm. Little do they know, famine and death await them. The war will consume Ortedail and waves of destruction will lay ruine to all who live the lands. These events have not taken place yet so you have a choice to change this not to distant future."

Diaramesis: "I don't understand...why would I have been chosen for such a mission? I know little of this religion and there are others who understand more than I do."

Luna: "Diaramesis every follower to the Twilight has a path to follow. I can see into your thoughts. I understand you in ways you can't imagine. You must trust me that I have picked you for a reason. Your fear burns just as strong as in the people who will suffer when war approaches them. In my possesion I have a unique shield unlike any crafted on earth. I will grant this to you to protect my lands. As long as you carry this shield you will defend the lands with great strength and vigilance. If you are successfull in your duty, your people will turn to you to lead them. Prosperity will return and all that is good will bloom from the lands."
