Tidey arrives in Itorunt after fleeing Netherworld

Looking filthy, ill and in pain, Tidey arrives ashore. She looks around and is quick to disappear into the shadows, and within twenty minutes has found a suitable hut, which she breaks into and uses to provide shelter while she rests from a horrible journey. She hates the sea at the best of times, and fleeing from the Netherworld torture chambers can't really be called the best of times, though in the last month she's spent a considerable amount of time there and at least it protects from the rain.
She knows she was lucky to get out alive, but still curses the loss of her valued possessions - her tent, her lamp, her various tradeable items, and the precious diamond she would look at, dreaming of a time when it might be attached to a ring, and placed on her finger by a fine nobleman. But that was just a dream. She'd thrown away her chances of that lifestyle years ago by thieving, to the extent her family had forced her to leave home. They still cared about her, she knew that - but life was hard for them in society while their children went about such disrespectful lives. At least she'd been able to cover for her younger brother, taking the blame for him that he might keep his honour while she served yet again in jail. Ironically, she was jailed for probably the only honourable thing she'd done as a teenager.
Reflecting on that, she thinks perhaps there's something yet to live for, and perhaps this awful boat journey is life's way of reminding her that there are worse things. Time to start afresh, she thinks. Well... after she's just snaffled one of those chickens that are in the yard over the road.

The next evening, she decides to head for the city she can see far away, and cuts through some forest to get there. At the edge of the Semall, she hears the familiar sinister movements, and chases the sound until she finds a group of undead. She hacks at them, stabs them, and soon they lie dissolved, save for a couple of gold and silver coins that she pockets quickly. Once inside the city, she buys a drink with a couple of the silver pieces, and sits by the lake, gazing over to the dim glow of the lights of Ibladesh, wondering what lies in store for her now.

Tidey: Hello! [she smiles with greeting] I am Tidey Grindle. I hope you're good at hunting undead - there are that many of them around here, I'd be happy of some assistance. I hear that they sometimes carry valuable items - I'd be happy to work together and split any really unique items half-and-half if we can find any.
Tidey enquires briefly of the man's possible possession of a tent, and then spends a short while telling of her fear in the Netherworld prison before being fleeing here to Itorunt.
