Gothsburg Family

History

The Gothsburg family immigrated to the city of Barad Lacirith on the isle of Atamara. Recently having been given a Grant of Nobility; the young sons of the Lord William and Lady Isabella have set out on adventures to bring their family fame and fortune.

Marcus

A Knight of Barad Lacirith, Marcus is a tall man, 6'4", fills out a suit of armor. He prefers to keep his hair cut short and often has not shaved in a few days. Marcus is always calm and collected in his thoughts and actions, even in the middle of a disorganized battle. He can, at times, come off as being cold due to his lack of expression or emotion in his voice but this is a result of hard training and years on the battlefield. He has shown a talent for tactics and could prove to be a formitable general.

"August 1st

The reconquest of Massillion is proving to be more difficult then frist thought, the takeover has been resisted twice. The people of Massillion spit at us when we walk in the street, i have to restrain myself from slaying the fools. They will all learn how they have been fooled by the Tratiors and then the people will realize that we are liberators and not pillagers. Even more disterbing then this rebellion is the internal rebellion with in the Kingdom. A Duke and a Marshall have left, this combined with the clames of the Black Duke have raised my ears to the interal workings of my Kingdom. Perhaps there is much going on behind closed doors that this young noble does not know about. Hopefully within time I will have a fuller grasp of the nature and charater of the realm that I love so much.

August 11th

Massillion has finally given into our takeover, after 6 long, hard days. During the last 2 days of the take over, we became more brutial. The generals ordered several troop leaders to loot the lands inorder to incourage the people of the city to come back to the kingdom. This tactic did not sit well with me. This crusade has always been sold as a reconquest of morality, and to resort to looting the people just to ease the take over. We shall see who truely are the beasts in this war.

Malan

Malan Gothsburg always argued with his twin Ikaika over the role of divine monarch and the separation church and state. He was always a Republican at heart, advocating for the will of the people over the oppression of the church. This is why He took up the rallying call in the Cagilan Empire. Malan is now joining friends from all over the Atamara Island to fight the Kingdoms of Carelia and the Kingdom of Abington. Malan is about 6'2" with short brown hair thats spiked up in the front. He is passionate about freedoms and liberities that his Republic grants and protects. He is well known for his speaches that bring hope to even the darkest of sitituations.

I have suffered heavy losses while fighting Carelia for the Duchy of Nida, we have managed to conquer the city, but have met oppistion in the Counties of Garnagi and Dowtow. I have now left the main force to gather more troops. All my men have been killed, my arm has been slashed open by heathen forces, but yet, I endure.

August 11th

The conquest of the Nida Duchy continues, our troops are pushing deeper into the Carelia lands. The other day when I returned to the city of Nida, a bard sung songs about my conquests and victories, this honor did not befit me. ...."

Ikaika

The rift between Ikaika and his twin Malan was more then his heart and the family could handle. Not feeling welcomed in his own island of Atamara, Ikaika left to fight for Falasan. Not finding his propose there, Ikaika was lost all hope and retired at 17 to contemplate life. He decided to fight for the only thing he believed in, the church. Leaving Falasan, he moved to the South-East Island and swearing loyalty to the Pontifex of Toren. Now Ikaika takes up arms for the Holy Father and the Holy Mother Church. Ikaika always strived to be diffrent from his twin brother, Malan. He grew his hair out so that it covered his face and he dyes it midnight black. This makes his dark blue eyes even more proment.

This is proving to be a very vexing war. I have spent more time on the road from the Stronghold to the Cave of Guilt in the past month then i would have ever liked in my entire life. Not only is this traveling hard on my ass, but on my men and my pocket as well. The Barony of the Cave of Guilt is the key to winning the war, Tor knows how important this barren land is. Hopefully this war will progress with in the next few weeks.

August 11th

Once again i find myself on this damned road from the stronghold to the Cave of Guilt. But i believe this is the last time i have will have to be on this road, the Barony has been secured, and our war can progress.

Sebastian

A tall, fiery youth, Sebastian, left the Manor in Barad Lacirith as soon as he could ride a horse. Taking up arms for Fontan, he came to find out that real warfare was more then just a child’s game. Unable to find the resolve needed for real leadership, he took leave of Fontan, and retired from the political and militaristic life of a soldier. He now finds more joy hosting his family’s parties then he ever did on the battlefield. Sebastian has been said to look like walking sunshine, with his bright smile and jaw long blond hair. He always has a spring in his step and can brighten up a room. He has a fondness for the latest fashions and is always well dressed.

Feilx

Always the black sheep of the family, he left to become a Noble of Abington. Little is known what happened to him, except that he no longer fights under the Abington. Feilx is an imposing figure, tall and slim, always drapped in black and with his naturally black hair and eyes. Being the black sheep in the family is a literal as well as figureative decription for Feilx.
