Glowing Ring of Lighting

The Glowing Ring of Lighting was first claimed by Silan Hlessi in Pesol, Ohnar West, on 1 February 1011. While camping one night under the stars, Silan was awakened by a brilliant flash of lightning. Since it was a perfectly clear night, Silan decided to follow the strange flash to its source. As he walked in the direction of the light, an increasing odor of undead flesh greeted his nostrils. Silan soon came upon a cemetery for peasants who had died from the plague. In the middle of the cemetery was a small group of cultists engaged in some unholy ritual. Drawing his sword, Silan charged into the cemetery, intent on destroying the blasphemy before something truly hellish emerged. Yet it was too late. A small army of undead suddenly burst from a nearby crypt. Fighting tooth and nail, Silan finally managed to reach the undead champion, who had consumed the very cult that had summoned him. Aided only by his sword, his guts, and a bit of help from some sympathetic Aenil, Silan managed to strike down the gruesome beast and send it back to the hell from which it came. All that was left from the remnants of the undead was a simple gold ring: the Glowing Ring of Lightning.
