Description
"It was simple, round, no gems. There were leaves, but they were carved into the ring's circle. The most impressive, however, was its colour. It was a mesh of a regular, red and white gold, she could see without even touching it. As the fire from her desk lamp flickered, the ring appeared to change colours, much like an autumnal sunrise. Leaves would appear to be aging from white to gold to red."
History
Discovered by adventurer Bryn as they travelled through the autumn forests of Woolton, the item changed hands at least once before was purchased by Mary Anne de la Fere to give to Stanmore Stromhar for the couple's wedding. Stanmore wore it proudly during his reign as Emperor of Perleone as Mary Anne's husband when the two were happily wedded shortly after. Following his resignation, the ring was lost in Perleone but recovered by an unknown adventurer who sold the ring to Daizen Tideweaver as he gathered colonists in the Kingdom of Perdan to settle the lands of Alexandria.
While Daizen gathered unique items to increase his prestige and notability while trying to attract colonists, Isana Everlight was preparing to propose marriage to her long-time partner Alyssa Kingsley and was looking for a suitable ring. An agreement was worked out between the two for an exchange of items, leading to the ring coming into the possession of Isana Everlight. While attempting to have the ring repaired, it was lost by the bearer Isana had entrusted it to and picked up by a different adventurer. The item was put up for auction in the Adventurer's Guild, where a fierce bidding match between Isana and Eros Harte. After some politicking and significant investment on the part of Isana, she won ownership of the ring, reclaiming it for her beloved Alyssa.
Isana proposed to Alyssa shortly after, presenting the ring to the newly crowned Queen of Perdan. With her acceptance of the proposal, Alyssa assumed ownership of the ring. The couple were married in Autumn of 2021.
