Glowing Crown of Betrayal

Varamyr discovered the crown in the eastern outskirts of the City of Nida while hunting a group of monsters that had been marauding in the area. After consulting with a sage, Varamyr learned a bit of the crown's history.
Apparently it belonged to a former ruler of the city who gifted it to his mistress. The crown was said to shimmer as the highly polished gold seemed to glow and sparkle. This same mistress then for no apparent reason slew the lord while they slept together. Some say it was madness, others greed, but all agree that the mistress betrayed her benefactor.
