Appearance

You look at the woman in front of you. She is of average height and weight. In fact, everything about this woman screams average. Her brown hair is pulled back from her face tightly, straining the pores of her forehead. She has a pair of glasses balanced haphazardly on the end of her nose in what could only be described as a comical way, had she meant for that.

She has a satchel nearly always slung from her shoulders, filled with scrolls and ledgers. The feathers of several quills poke out from the satchel and various pockets, and there are dabs of black ink staining her tunic here and there.

Early Life

Raine decided when she came of age to explore the wild lands of Dwilight. This decision came as a complete shock to her entire family, one more expected of her cousin Fiona than the bookworm Raine. However, her mind was set and she boarded a ship for the exotic continent.

She arrived in [Luria Nova] at the young age of 19. She quickly found an estate and with the money her family had supplied her with she recruited a small band of swordsmen.

This turned out to be a disaster.

Raine fumbled several battles, clumsily wielding her sword. She survived only by the graces of her companions and their efforts to protect her. Understanding now that she simply was not destined to wield a sword, she began to experiment with the bow. Archery came quickly to Raine, as her mind was able to understand the ballistic formulas of the trajectory of an arrow through the air and apply it to the battlefield. Finding herself finally useful in combat, she was employed with the southern effort to exterminate the undead and monster scourges from the lands.

Luria Nova

Raine found herself to be extraordinarily gifted in the aspects of organization and paperwork. Not the most glorious job, but she worked hard at it and found it rewarding.

As the next step in her career, she became a courtier of the realm, moving around the regions and working on administration. It was not long before her actions were notices, and the Kings of Lura Nova voted her to become the Grand Panetier of the realm. Now in charge of the food distribution for the realm, Raine felt quite at home. Scrolls are constantly piled on her desk depicting current sale prices and regional reports from various markets.

She was appointed as Countess of Nid Tek for a short time, and was quickly promoted to Margravine of Poryatown in succession.

Restlessness

After a time, things began to quiet down in Luria Nova. The monster hordes had been defeated, regions reclaimed, and starvation had ceased. Through her beaurocratic work, Raine had been able to completely control and optimize the food situation in the realm. She began to grown tired of the same old routine. She began to yearn for more in life. With no hope for excitement in Luria on the horizon, Raine decided to step down from her titles and make her way to the western half of Dwilight, to a realm called Westgard.

Westgard Pt. I

In Westgard, Raine found her warrior spirit. Spending a year on the Western front, she accumulated a wealth of battle experience.
