Appearance

Fiona stood tall and slender, with auburn hair reaching halfway down her back. Often dressed in green, the fabrics would emblazon her hazel eyes. She had an angular face which had become harder and more stern as the years had taken their toll on her.

While in her younger years she had possessed a slender yet athletic physique, as she had shouldered the burdens of leadership and eventual madness, she had lost weight and eventually sported a skeletal frame.

Early Life

Fiona left her home in Aix when she was 18 in search of glory and fortune in Riombara. Being the daughter of a low class aristocrat merchant, she fought as a hedge knight of low rank. She enjoyed the exotic nature of the Riombara compared to the East Continent, but her thirst for ambition was never slaked in Riombara, and she became impatient.

After nearly a year in Belutera, her family wrote to her telling her that war had engulfed her homeland. The Northern War encompassed Nivemus, Eponllyn, and Sirion battling against her home Perdan. Immediately, she boarded a ship bound for the East Continent to take up the fight for her home.

The Northern War

Fiona returned home to find Perdan under the assault of Sirion, Eponllyn, and Nivemus. Enlisting a force of warriors, she immediately joined the war effort. She gained high esteem from her military chain of command when she volunteered and successfully completed a series of long range reconnaissance missions deep into enemy territory.

In a surprise move, the King of Perdan abdicated his throne mid-war. Due to the situation revolving the realm, this created an atmosphere of chaos and disarray. Elections were held, and Fiona put her name forth with the support of Duke Albert of Ubent Duchy. Surprising everyone, the young dame won the election.

Now a Queen, Fiona took to the throne. She first attempted diplomacy, trying to secure some sort of peace from the Northern Alliance...
