This is a historical record of the old Fontan Assembly circa 2005-2008
The Fontan Assembly holds veto power over proposals from the High Council. Its governing constitution follows.
Membership
- Two Assemblymen shall be elected per duchy, by a simple majority of the duchy's Knights and Lords. A Duke may veto any election, but can be overridden by a simple majority of his Local Lords.
- Elections for Assemblymen are to be held every three months.

Responsibilities
- The Assembly will be presented from time to time proposals by the Chancellor or High Council. They may approve, defeat or send to the realm for vote any proposals by a simple majority vote. If a proposal is defeated, the Chancellor can present the proposal to the realmwide nobles whom may override the Assembly by a two-thirds vote.
Limitations
- By a three-fourths vote, the High Council may expel any member of the Assembly.
- The Assembly has no legislative power, but may present to the Chancellor and High council a petition for action.
- No member of the High Council may also be an Assemblyman.
