Fikman
Description
Fikman is a prosperous coastal region directly west of the city of Gethsemene. Blessed with unusually fair weather all year round it is a most productive region with reliable agriculture yields and ample fisheries.
If Sniika and Haji are the bread bowls of the duchy then Fikman could be said to be the fishermans basket. While the markets of Gethsemene boast the greatest seafood, much of it comes from the coast of it's neigbour. Decades of anarchy on the Binoaramet peninsula have allowed fish stocks along the Dark Sea to burgeon and the fishermen of Fikman are the beneficiaries.
The people of Fikman can be said to be more cheerful than most in the area (especially compared to neighbouring Qonnor). This is likely due to decades of amazing weather, political stability and a somewhat savage local custom where individuals (or entire clans) deemed to be excessively dour are exiled to Qonnor.
