Attach to large battle reports, the name of the armies and sponsors.

"The First Army of Keplerstan (Keplerstan II), sponsored by Kepler Hawk, Duke of Splodgeville, High Administrator of Keplerstan II, was led into battle by Marshal Frank Anaris" would be an example text regarding armies and sponsors for the battle report(including huge battle report). For normal battle reports, the "They deploy in Infantry Charge formation." can be appended after that sentence.

To clarify in a less flowery example, "The (armyname) ((realmname)), sponsored by (sponsor's full name, titles), was led into battle by Marshal (full name)." It should be noted that extra titles the marshal may have is being explicitly excluded from this text.

Benefits

This would help reduce nationalism a small degree by allowing one to see the army and sponsor involved in battles and allow potential duchy army and religious army involvement in wars without necessarily involving the whole realm. It would also allow recognition(for rp use) for armies and sponsors and provide an rp target("hey lets attack that sponsor's city instead of that other city!") for the enemy.
