I am very pleased to have been elected as king over Falasan. and I thank everyone who has supported me. But we must look foreward to the future, war is allready upon ASI, you must follow the orders issued by your marshals. for we march to their aid. FOR FALASAN " -- Jambo Lamonte King Reilwin Falls ill, Elections Announced ! February 23rd 2008 A short interview with Reilwins scribe, he gives the following details regarding King Reilwin: " Within the darkness of his study, Reilwin is hunched over his desk, sifting through messages and reports with trembling hands. Finding the letter he sought, he looks up and begins to dictate a response to me. Reilwin stops midword, as a choking cough envelopes him. I wait for him to to recover and continue his dictation, but I become more worried as the cough goes on and on. Approaching Reilwin, I suddenly notices that Reilwin's hand is covered with blood-flecked spittle. Backing away, I rushes to summon the healers. Then, head over to the Falasan Inquirer February Elections page, where everyone can view your manifesto alongside every candidate and their manifestos. -- Jambo Lamonte Caergoth Declares war on Protectorate of Magnus February 22nd 2008 Caergoth has declared war on the Protectorate of Magnus, ASI is sure to come to PoM's aid because of the recently formed Federation between them. -- Jambo Lamonte Alliances Forged, and a Federation Formed February 21st 2008 Caergoth has forged an alliance with its neighbor Carelia, and Eston. while the realms Protectorate of Magnus and the Ash Sea Islands have now joined into a federation. -- Jambo Lamonte Tournament in Minas Ithil Over February 12th 2008 The tournament in Shanandoah is over. 190 troop leaders from 13 realms fought and drank. There was a swordfighting and a jousting contest. Trevor Vance, Baron of Cori won the swordfighting tournament and Tomin Jackson, (Knight of Dampinn, Suville) came in second place. The jousting contest was won by Sir Dashem de Struct (Knight of Belegmon, Falasan) and Sir DrSeptre Meadowcrest, Baron of Howling Waste came in second place. -- Jambo Lamonte New Duke of Barad Gardor February 12th 2008 With Tank's absence, several candidates showed interest in being appointed the position over the city and Duchy of Barad Gardor. Willem Tinsley, Royal Banker of Falasan, was appointed by King Reilwin this morning as Duke of Barad Gardor. This is what King Reilwin had to say: " Congratulations Duke Willem, It was a difficult decision, for there were many qualified candidates, but I am sure you will handle the affairs of the duchy as well as you are with the food trade. " , and to which Willem Tinsley replied: " My King, Let me thank you publicly for the appointment as Duke of Barad Gardor. I shall strive to continue the work that Sir Tank had done, making the city and the duchy one of the finest in all the land. " -- Jambo Lamonte Barony of Makar joins Minas Ithil / Norland war February 5th 2008 This evening BoM fought in Elost against Minas Ithil. This maneuver has been expected after the recent accusations by BoM that Minas Ithil was using PoM priests in Barad Riel ( Norland ). Which invalidated the "one on one" unofficial agreement between Minas Ithil and Norland. ( see January edition for full details ). Further complications arise from battle, BoM's involvement in the Minas Ithil / Norland war actually invalidates the treaty between Falasan and Eston. This treaty was signed at the end of the war, ( turn over for a copy of the treaty ). The important clause is neither Falasan or Eston may get involved in the Minas Itil / Norland war while its "one on one". This could quite likely put Norland into the middle of four realms fighting over its land very soon if Falasan and Eston choose to go to war again. -- Jambo Lamonte Tournament Announced February 5th 2008 Sir Dead Angel3 of the White Guardians, King of Minas Ithil has announced a tournament of Joust and Swordfight to be held in Shanandoah 9 days from now. There will be a charge of 20 gold for every participant. The winner will be rewarded with 600 gold in addition to the honour and prestige that his victory will earn him. There will also be a reward of 100 gold for the second best. All nobles of the continent are welcome on the tournament grounds on the day of this event. -- Jambo Lamonte
