Enodscopia Family/Alpha

The story of Alpha is an interesting story. (Most of this I wrote over 5 years ago, and I'm not going to revise it. Not sure exactly how I'm going to write, but I'm going to write from a 3rd person biography type writing.)

Born Eldest son, older brother of Zedric now fighting for Enweil and Zellion fighting for Kingdom of Alluran. He left the family home in Slantrax to make his own career deciding to settle in Soliferum which he did for almost 3 years.

Time in Soliferum

In Soliferum, Alpha was the longest serving senator as well, he was the Count of Sozon. Fought at the walls of Hatdhes against King Senoske of Nighthelm and at the city of Ortedail against Verità e Potere.

In this time though much had change in the beloved realm the seed of corruption was sown deep and blooming greatly. Seeing that something must be done Annwn, Glorawarthien, Felifious, Maltheo, Gracus, and Alpha formed the Soliferum First Forever party, which tried its hardest to keep Soliferum from fracturing up until the very moment when it was unchangeable.

The Succession of Ortedail

Duchess Annwn with instruction from the gods seceded her city, Ortedail. With it went Todpitz, Dsinanas, and Azohib. Annwn became Pontifex of this new Theocracy, The Grand Lodge of Lunaria. I made a plea to my guild ~V~ who responded with support, a large portion even coming to the to the Grand Lodge and joining leaving behind their homes and Lord Valius his region. Olwe Cuthalion, Royal treasurer of the Antoza Commonwealth came to the Grand Lodge with an expeditionary force and gave his life as a hero in the Battle for Azohib.

The Grand Lodge of Lunaria

Soon after the Founding of the Grand Lodge Annwn left the realm on a mission from the Gods, leaving behind her City and her Kingdom. Alpha was elected ruler of the Grand Lodge. After the election Trenton Lankmere, a former noble of Batesaor who came guided by honor, was appointed Harupex Maximus. And Gracus, long known by Alpha well into the time of Soliferum, appointed Duke of Ortedail. He served as Pontifex until stepping down to some internal pressures.
Eirik II was elected after him. During this reign the evil Nobdy was able to establish a foothold on the island. For this Eirik II was protested out and Alpha put back in. As time went on Alpha could not deal with the division of his realm. And on many occasions was protested nearly out of office. He had enough by the Bate in Batesaor and upon his return he withdrew his gold and traveled to join neighboring Nighthelm.

Nighthelm

A new home, when he arrived he received much welcome. He serves as a Lightning raider under Lord Gomorrah who commands battalion I of the Lightning raiders. He served there until Olwe of Toren created the League Of Anacan. Though he loved Nighthelm, he could not deny his warriors spirit the desire to fight in this new realm for his ~V~ brother and friend.

League of Anacan

After the creation of the League of Anacan by Olwe of Toren and Maltheo, Alpha felt compelled to aid his old friends in their new realm. He served there for sometime, leading army of the realm and becoming Duke of the capital. Eventually, the realm was strangled by its neighbors. Alpha grew tired of watching the population suffer, surrendered Anacan to Antoza Commonwealth forces.

Anotza Commonwealth

After the surrender of Anacan, Alpha was now a duke of the Commonwealth. Though, in his first weeks here, distrust of him was rampant he eventually was elected Arch Priest. Alpha held this title until his capture in the epic Battle of Anacan, where the Commonwealth defended the city from 7 realms. In time, Anacan eventually fell to the Lasanarian might and once again Alpha had to move on.

Nighthelm

Upon the fall of Anacan, Alpha returned to Nighthelm. Alpha remained here, living at an estate in Edairn. An attack against the family left him severely wounded for an extended him. He awoke in a secluded manor in the woods of Anaos. His coma had lasted for months, and he was now farther north than he had ever been.

Arcaea

Alpha joined Arcaea after buying an estate in Topenah. Here he was impressed by the infantry available to this ancient empire. The Remton centers offered the finest heavy infantry he had ever seen. He did not shy from giving his opinion in the Military Council, and this was quickly recognized by the King. In just weeks he was named Marshal of the Field of Honor, a position that saw many victories. Those victories were eventually awarded by Obtal, and the position of Lord Protector. It was during this time that the founding of C'thonia occurred.

C'thonia

Time in C'thonia passed mind numbingly slow. Alpha quickly found himself as the Warmaster of the realm. Though the position was largely pointless as the affairs of repairing a destroyed infrastructure left little time for battle. Few things of note occurred during this time. It was here that news of Ziode's colony based in Ortedail reached Alpha's ears.

Kindara

Alpha joined Kindara to return to the home of his youth. It rightful that he was named Duke of Ortedail. Kindara quickly dealt the final blow to Soliferum, then turned attentions to the repair of the Realm's newly acquired territory. However, this newly won peace was shortly lived. Tensions between Kindara and Neosartania culminated in a war that cost the Sartanias their realm. Now Kindara has secured its place in the south.

Death

Alpha surveyed the field, the attackers had broken his lines. More of them had arrived than expected, and the situation was compounded by rogue forces in the region. He'd witnessed many Kindara nobles fall to wounds, and he saw his son unhorsed in the initial charge. He ordered his personal guard to hold so that the Emerald Legion could retreat in good order, but there was no time. The enemy infantry was already upon him.

A company a pikemen, wearing the old colors of Batesaor, pressed hard against his archers. Alpha’s archers were not prepared for the assault. Duchess Gloria’s troop had fought with a great fury for the entirety of the battle. Alpha thrust his sword into one of the assailants, the man dropped. He attempted to fall back, but the Solarhin was upon him. He was much slower now than in his prime. He blocked an incoming blow with his shield, which was then torn from his grasp by another strike. A sword struck against his helm, knocking the old man off balance, and from the side, Alpha saw a pike coming, and he felt the cold steel pierce his breastplate. The point deep into his lungs. A mortal wound, he knew.

The sword fell from his hand. Every breath brought blood to his mouth. Time slowed and he knew he was old, he had fought more battles than he could remember, and seen friends meet the fate that was now his own. He stumbled falling to a knee, just a moment to catch his breath. Alpha saw another glint of a sword in the morning’s rising sun, then red, and then only black.
