The Enchanted Amulet of Warding was just hanging on that undead champion's neck. Galen knew he had to take it. Parrying several hard blows, he ducked the last and thrust his sword into its belly and at the same time ripped the amulet from its neck with his left hand. The moment the amulet left its neck the undead crumpled into a pile of bones.
