Elemental Plate Mail of Life

Joline Rasthaven and I were hunting monsters in the Falasan region of Chucha. Following Joline's report of a large horde, I soon came upon them. The alpha was sporting rather nice looking plate armor, which seemed to do little to improve his life expectancy. Of course, being made for a being half his size and crudely lashed on, leaving large gaps that would not be such an easy mark to slide a sword into when worn by a human sized occupant. But then, it apparently didn't save the skin of the original owner either. The runes inscribed upon the breast plate seem to say this object is known as the Elemental Plate Mail of Life. Perhaps whatever power it has is only available to a user of magic. Or perhaps the armorer's marketing department was just gilding the lily. At any rate, it is a fine looking ensemble. Silver white metal of a type not known to me and curiously lighter than might be expected from its thickness. Certain to make any noble a stand out on parade; though with its history, I'm not sure I'd want to trust it to more strenuous duty.
