Doomed Band of Glory

The Doomed Band of Glory was the ring of one of the greatest kings of old. His days, however, were numbered. Many wanted him dead, and to be free from kings. He taxed the peasants heavily, growing rich and constructing a palace of gold. The Doomed Band of Glory is a pure golden ring with a very large diamond set in it. Everyone was envious of him, and his glory and greed ended up being his downfall. He was slowly poisoned, and all of his servants stole from him. When he died, his army went into chaos, and a civil war ensued. The Doomed Band of Glory was stolen so many times that eventually it found it's way into a soldier. Anyone who carried it died. The poor soldier did not realize it, and died a horrific death, later rising to take revenge on the children of those who did not warn him. Valter Marrioneaux slayed him at 8:45 at night, and took the Doomed Band of Glory. Unfortunately for him, he lost it while pursuing some monsters behind an old shed in the hills.
