Macima Darksun

History

Macima was born in the region of Washford, in what is now Suville. Her parents emigrated when she was a young girl in an attempt to spread the family name once again after several generations of isolation. They settled in Strombran, the capital of Carelia.

She was orphaned in her adolescent years when bandits attacked her family's coach while to returning Strombran from a reunion in Washford. As such, her estate was run by her family's most trusted servant, and now her captain, Baldred. Macima was sent to military school, as the will of her parents dictated.

After graduating from the Military Academy of Carelia, Macima pledged allegiance to the Duke of Strombran. Since this time she has served the region and it's army, The Blades of Carelia.

Upon the pathetic defeat of her unit at the First Siege of Ash'rily, Macima turned down her Knighthood to take up the banner of a Hero of the Realm.
