Life

Skriznack is Karnak's fraternal twin brother. While Karnak was content to stay in Redspan, drink beer, and worship Da One all day Skriznack desired a life of adventure. Wanting to become a great warrior, Skriznack approached his father one day and asked for his inheritance that he might go off to gain their family much prestige. His father relented and sent Skriznack off to South-East island along with his old battle shield. He quickly join the Taselak army and was assigned to the Shield of Falens.

Skriznack has taken to tatooing the names of each of his men lost in battle onto his chest. This is very painful and was made even worse by the fact that he must constantly wax the hair from his chest to add more names. Skriznack currently enjoys the position of the most prestigious hero in realm, 6th over all.

Skriznack's Mental Scars

Skriznack's Mental scars are the men of Skriznack's (semi) elite infantry unit. They have fought for Skriznack throughout various campaigns and untold battles. Especially notable among this group is Skriznack's second, Captain Ulfred who has been with him since the raising of the unit and is a man of great experience and a fierce warrior in his own right. Three of them stood with him at his last battle against Ikalak at belus.

Death

After taking heavy casualties against a massive Ikalak army in Cirannor and complementing their new Highmarshal on his victory Skriznack and his Mental Scars fell back to belus and braced themselves for the next great battle. After offering a young troopleader a bit of advice he readied himself for his date with destiny. On the morning of June 2, 1007 on his 190th day as a warrior in the armed forces of Taselak; Skriznack, Captain Ulfred, and two other veteran Mental Scars stood along side their brother in arms and defended the fortifications of Belus. Facing 25,000 Cs of enemy troops armed with siege engines, the 10,000 Cs of brave Taselakian defenders could not win but they were determined to at least make the enemy pay for victory. In the first charge two Mental Scars went down though Skriznack and his men took down twice as many. Surrounded and supported only by Captain Ulfred, Skriznack and his Captain cut into the enemy ranks, giving as good as they got. Unfortunately that was not enough and Skriznack was cut down while trying to hold the front line. His mortally wounded captain managed to write a letter to Skriznack's brother Karnak on his death bed. Skriznack's one wish should he die was that his family, "Keep the necrophiliacs away." Skriznack died doing what he loved, defending his country against a worthy opponent and shall be remembered for his bravery in the face of unbeatable odds and his selfless sacrifice for his comrades in arms.

In a large ceremony, your family commemorates the dead Skriznack, a legend known all over the world. For days, the family graveyard swarms with his friends and admirers. Artists compose songs and poems about him, and young maidens cry in their chambers.
