Story

Frederic disembarked in the city of Suville, of the Kingdom of Suville, when he was 17, on his way north to Caergoth, looking for his cousin the Grand Marshal Morlock, in whose service he would be. Right in the port he was announced of his cousin's death, so he decided to stay in Suville. He served in there for a couple of years until, when he was 21, the letters sent by his cousin Felicie about the Daimonic invasion started to show each time less hope for humanity in Beluaterra. Without previously announcing her, he embarked to join her in the defense of her realm, Riombara, and became a knight of Rines.

Personality

Frederic aspires to be renowned in the whole world by his courage and honor, but too often his dreams prove to be more idealistic than he'd wish, as he commits excesses in feasts and hunts alike. He is rather passionate, irascible and prideful, but usually quite jovial and friendly.

His head feeling as if it had been drilled deep, Frederic woke up in one of the deserted houses of Enweilieos. He looked around him and saw the 25 men that had managed to flee the slaughter alive, some of them barely so, but all of them wounded, including himself. It had been quite a ride.

He remembered the previous day's events. Against the recommendation of his much wiser captain he deployed his troops in a position in the front, along with the militia, which now he knew it would be better called "human shield". It was his first time fighting Daimons, but what difference could it have with fighting humans, monsters or undead? They all died the same...

Heavily drunk, as most of his soldiers, he was unusually courageous - or stupid according to his sober captain - that night. He led the fight, acting more as a grunt than as a commander, exposing himself to the giant and repulsive creatures' blows. He saw his companions torn apart in no time, specially the slower and drunker ones, and would have suffered the same fate would it not be for the superior quality of his armor, now severely damaged. His left arm was of little use now, though he had escaped from losing it.

Then he saw it, his trusted captain. "Sssebassstian, fetch me wine!" He received a stern look, and the captain simply continued whatever he was doing. "Sebasssstiannn, you dogh, bring me booze, dammit!" His captain now turned to fully face him, revealing the man he was taking care of, one of his soldiers. The scene was quite gruesome, and alike a punch in Frederic's stomach. Sebastian quietly walked out of sight, took a jar of wine, came back into view and poured some into the agonizing man's wounds. By when he finished, Frederic was mostly done expelling his guts out.
