Communionism/Five Tenets
Five Tenets were written by Maltheo and posted in the Temple, and elsewhere in the City. They are not treated as "holy text" or commandments - at least, not by their author or the other priests - and seem to be almost a mnemonic for encapsulating the "experience" of Communion.
One
Communion is a personal experience, for no two men are shown the same vision by ikrif.
Two
Communion is necessarily a natural experience, neither forced nor controlled.
Three
Communion is a sober experience, for ikrif must be taken with clarity of thought.
Four
Communion is an uncertain experience, for one may commune with ancestors, spirits in search of rest, beings with no Name, mere phantasms or nothing at all.
Five
Communion transcends that which is knowable, yet it may bring recognition to that which was unknown.
