The Club of Bloodletting was said to be a myth, a rumor, something to scare kids into eating there veggies, but that's not entirely true.
The Club was supposedly used by a trio of witch sisters who practiced the darkest form of the evilest magic, but in order for this magic to work properly, they needed willing victims to give them blood. Bloodletting in these times is far different than what it is today, no whiskey to dull the pain, no blindfold to prevent "sickness", and these witches were exceptionally cruel.
With one sister holding the feet, and another holding the head, the third with her magic club they would bleed their victims far past the point of relieveing sickness, they would simply bleed them to death. These witches had become so experienced in what they did that they would have a man dead in 2 minutes, and he would never know how it happened.
The problem with the blood magic that the trio used is that it slowly seeps the life out of the users, just as it does the victims. Lucky for us the witches didn't know this. after near 100 years of their dark and abominable sorcery, they finally began to lose their grip on their lives. But at the end of their time, just before they fell dead, the eldest of the three witches struck a deal with the devil, in exchange for their life, they would contstantly bleed the life out of countless victims with their magical club, and give the blood to the devil as payment. So the witches lived on (if you can call it that) in the region of Zarimel in Antoza Commomwealth of the Far East living off of the blood of their victims and slowly amassing
undead souls to help them in their efforts(the devils demands were extortionary, so undead were needed to make the quota).
Then, on the 13 day of January, in the 1000 and 7th year of our world, the witches tried to ensare the wrong person. Julius Maximus, illigetimate son of Marcus Antonus, came upon the witches as they were bleeding yet another helpless soul. Julius fought fiercly, for several hours, aginst nearly 100 undead monsters until he finally came upon the witches. Infused with bloodlust and adrenaline, Julius Maximus Barthalemus cut down the evil servants of demons and walked away victorius with a bloody club held in his left hand.
