The Rock of Fheuvenem was discovered when Margrave Arkady R. Mayhem accidentally disturbed it. Being too close to our God's influence, the Margrave eventually turned mad, causing banishments and allegiance changes to various Realms. In the final days of his rule, he moved the Rock to his personal estate, which was subsequently burned by the new Margrave of Fheuvenem. This is a detailed account of the successful attempt to find the Rock of Fheuvenem once more:

Roleplay from Adam Telrunya
Message sent to everyone in the region Fheuvenem

A little coach came to a stop after it had just passed the gates of Fheuvenem. Adam got out and handed a gold coin to its owner. He had finally returned to this City, but he was a different man now. His intensive studies had let him to discover the truth behind the Maddening Star and he had come to this City not as a warrior, but as the prophet of his new faith. He had had a good start, with his Czarina enthusiastically embracing his beliefs. The Margrave of Fheuvenem had also seen the light, but had asked for proof before he would accept Adam's proposal and that was why he was here today. Fheuvenem, the Capital of the newly reborn IVF, was set to become a proper Holy Site for the Church as well. The Margrave had given him a clear task to prove he was speaking the truth: Find the Rock of Fheuvenem.

Adam slowly made his way to through the city streets, looking for the burned down Estate of the previous Margrave, Lord Arkady R. Mayhem, seemingly knowing where he had to go without much trouble. It appeared the current Margrave had taken quick action in ensuring the previous Lord's presence did not remain long. As he approached the Burned Estate, it appeared the whole area was just a lawless place that people simply refused to acknowledge. He found some of the militia wandering around the area, the Bows of the Maddening Star, his old unit. He had given them instructions to keep an eye out on matters, and even if Adam was no longer technically their employer, it seemed they had abided by his request. Beggars and the less unfortunate were found wandering the ruins for anything valuable to find and it was fortunate that a rock was most likely not going to be on that list for any of them. If one looked closely, one could find a dead body here and there, probably victims of disagreements over spoils. Adam wondered if the older ones around this place had already slowly lost some of their mind from the Rock of Fheuvenem's influence. As he started walking, the few militia guards present followed him to offer protection, but Adam kept his hand on his sword, knowing this could quickly erupt into a dangerous place if he was not careful.

While Adam had spend enough time adapting to the energy in Dwilight and Fheuvenem to be able to sense the influence of the Sealed God, it certainly was not possible to distinguish direction. All Adam could feel was his blood slowly becoming increasingly more active, a feeling that his blood was boiling as his emotions were strengthened by the Sealed God's influence. It was not a difficult task to thus determine a general area of high influence, in the way he had found this estate, but to feel the minute differences in his blood with every few steps to sense if he got closer to the Rock of Fheuvenem or not to determine its location was a whole different task. But it was one he had to accomplish, or his whole quest was rightfully a laughable one. He had spend enough time preaching under the Maddening Star and spend enough time in the vicinity of his mentor that he was ready to put his training in good use. It was time to harness the Sealed God's influence.

The beginning was easier. Adam walked around slowly, concentrating on the feeling in his blood and the weight on his mind. It became heavier as he moved along the outer walls, clearly it was the right direction. Adam paid minimal attention to his surroundings, only making sure he did not bump his head into a wall. Suddenly, a small hint of a temporary lapse in his blood, it was slowing down. He went too far. He turned to the courtyard. Perhaps an obvious location for a prominent object that commemorated Fheuvenem's fall, but it was not here either, he did not feel the cool rushing image of deceiving clarity here. The beggars and treasure hunters had now properly noticed the unusual group of visitors, and the Margrave was right that they did not look kindly on Nobility. Adam had done little to hide that fact, but then a group of armed and trained militia guards helped immensely keeping them at bay. Still, their eyes were everywhere and all focused on him. Adam decided to turned right. There were many large objects scattered around. Nature had done a fast job of trying to reclaim it. Clearly, one could not easily distinguish the rock he was looking for.

Adam moved within what remained of the standing walls of the estate. As he took a step of what was once considered the inside, a bolt suddenly flew past. Adam quickly lost his concentration and drew his sword, his patrol of guards quickly doing the same, looking shocked at the crossbow bolt that was tightly tucked into the wall close to him. The many eyes around him did not react, as if nothing had happened. Adam took a deep breathe. Clearly, he was inside the lion's den here, and there were some that cared little for the consequences of killing a Noble. The guards threatened the people closest by with little effect, but they were truly on alert now too, having been rather sceptical at first that what could reasonable be expected did not hold up in a place where insanity seeped through.

Now within the charcoaled walls, there was a bit more protection from such attempts. Adam collected his breath and tried to return to his concentration. He had to feel the pressure on his mind, the boiling of his blood, every little rush it made as it reacted to the unfocused raw energy of the Sealed God's influence. Calmness was the wrong path. It only makes it impossible. Do not be led by emotion, use it instead. Let the blood boil at your discretion. Do not fight it. It clicked in his head and he moved, his eyes fixated. He made his way to the back of the estate, he was getting closer. When he entered one of the many abandoned rooms, he stopped. Rubble what was once the higher levels of the estate was scattered around, blocking most of the fire-blackened room.

"We must clear this out."

Adam ordered the men with him to remove what rubble they could. It had to be close now, the feeling was getting very familiar of the times he investigated the Rock before. A few beggars dared to get closer as the prospect of new valuables arose. They could have it all, if it was up to Adam. He only had interest in one thing after all. Adam looked at them. Their eyes looked dangerous, but several guards were ready to react. He kept his hand on his sword as his eyes darted around the unwanted company. He needed not for long. Suddenly, one of the beggars leaped with crystal-clear determination. Adam recognized it. One of his guards did not. Avoiding the strike of his foe, the beggar quickly pushed a made-shift dagger into one of the Bowmen with Adam. Before he was finished, Adam's sword cleanly cut through him. The beggar coughed up some blood in surprise, and perished quickly after as several guards were now busy providing first aid. Adam looked at the lifeless body and knew that the Sealed God's influence had gotten to this one's mind, driving it insane on the outside, albeit the beggar must have thought everything made sense to him. He had managed to overcome a trained guard on alert, yet was now dead on the ground.

The other few unwanted guests were smart to leave. The wounded guard was quickly patched up, He had lost a lot of blood, but was most likely going to be fine. The experience for him had mostly been just very painful, The rest quickly finished clearing the room of the large debris and Adam moved in to see what could be found. He could feel he was very close, even if there was little to find here. But it wasn't long until he found his answer. Hidden under the small debris, two gigantic doors were found in the floor. Opening them, they led to large open cellars under Arkady's burned Estate. Many stairs leading down were needed as a great open space met them. There was a very dense air here, muddy dark rocks appearing wherever the torches shined their light, dusty wines scattered around. But Adam cared none for that. He did not need to look long to find what he sought. Further in, a large rock was positioned that was not supposed to be here. Quickly, Adam moved towards it. On it were clear inscriptions detailing the assault on Fheuvenem, and all the names of the Nobles that participated with it, Adam's own name included. There was no doubt about it that this was it. The Rock of Fheuvenem. He had done it, he had actually managed to find it. Arkady must have moved it in his final days, to hide and protect his made monument from others out of spite for their actions. But Adam had found it! This certainly marked a new level of control over the Sealed God's influence. His hands moved over the smooth cold rock as he had to breathe heavily to not forget his boiling blood. There was little time to waste, no matter how elated he was, and Adam quickly turned to his companions:

"Secure this place immediately and inform the Margrave that the Rock of Fheuvenem has been found! He has his proof now!"
