In July of 1011, Tsuherer Galen and the High Baron of Razrpot, Rory MacColl engaged in a discourse over philosophical and theological topics. This is one particular excerpt from that discourse from Tsuherer Galen regarding the existence of Echad.

My Friend,

I shall make an attempt to properly summarize the more important aspects of the vast amounts I have learned from the Sacred Parshas, the holy texts of my Church. They provide an incredible insight into the world that is so wholly convincing and perfectly fitting to describe the current spiritual battles that ravage this land that I do think it can be ignored.

I will be frank with you, good Baron. I know your predispositions toward the existence of gods, but I will assure that a God exists. One God. His name is Echad and He is singular and beautiful. There exists no other gods, for He is so perfect in His beauty, that none other could possibly rival Him.

You may ask then, "Surely, you can claim there is no God but this one you call Echad, but there are thousands of others who claim there are plenty of gods! Multiples of them! How can you say they are wrong?"

It is a fair question, and I simply answer: They are not wholly wrong. The Bashaf, the first book of our Sacred Texts that outlines the creation of this universe and our world, clearly explains the existence of these other so called gods.

You see, these beings that all of these many religions are based around really do exist, at least, most of them probably do. They are not gods, though. They are creations of Echad just like you and I. They were His first creations, in fact, and they were called the Ersht. The Ersht were His prized creations for eons and their story is further documented in the Bashaf. However, I will cut to the point: after Echad created the human race and placed them here on our world, the Ersht became both jealous and greedy. They wished to be worshiped as Echad was worshiped and together they cut Echad off from this world. Slowly, they turned the minds and cultures of this world away from Echad and taught them that they were gods themselves. They renamed themselves, taught the human race lies about themselves, and waged war against one another through their human slaves in an effort to dominate this world and the entire human race.

This, my friend, is what is glorious about Echad and about our Sacred Texts. They so perfectly how this world came to be and they explain the existence of other gods and religions perfectly! The followers of Echad are never left wondering what if we are wrong and someone else is right? We know. We know Echad. And we work to earn His blessings and to defeat the evil that separates us from Him.

These are the answers to the questions I have posed to you, Baron MacColl. I hope they find satisfaction within you. Of course, this is only a short recourse of what there is to learn within the Church of Echad. And of course, this is only one facet of our Church. The Church not makes and answers such philosophical and theological inquiries, but it has an urgent goal of uniting and creating strong communities and bonds; it has a goal of increasing knowledge of Echad's Law and how we can live by it to bring His blessings upon us; and many more.

Baron MacColl, you know as well as I that these mountains were touched by someone. I know with all of my being that is was by the Beautiful Artist that is Echad. I hope you will soon see this as well. There is no coincidence in the fact that I was thrust into Razrpot and Haul to begin my Noble's life of adulthood, it was for the purpose of re-founding His Church and spreading this knowledge.

I do hope my words have stricken you and make much sense. While I could ramble for days it seems, I will end this letter and eagerly await your reply. I hope you are well, my friend, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Blessings Upon You,
Galen Perth
