In the following text the holy pantheon of Ibladesh is mentioned several times. The members of this divine pantheon are:

Ramsus, our supreme leader
Sartan, the god of war
Kokini, goddess of stealth and mischief
Tersea, goddess of trade and economics

The concept of diversity too is very important in the Church of Ibladesh. We recognize that none of us has the monopoly on truth, and diversity is both healthy and natural.

The origin of mankind

In the early days of earth everything was created and got form and colour. The holy pantheon meditated on the concept of diversity and after that decided what to create. That way all kinds of plants, insects, birds, reptiles and mammals were created due to the will of the mighty pantheon and according to the divine concept of diversity. Countless creatures proliferated and beautiful earth was full of live. So animals were created and earth was a busy but yet quite untroubled place. Birds were singing and the wind kept on playing with the tops of ancient trees.

After all of the seas, plains, mountains, plants and animals were created the pantheon again engaged on meditating on the concept of divine diversity. Usually this process went on for a few hours until the pantheon was fully inspired and after that they engaged in creating. But this time everything was different. The holy pantheon was assembled in the divine halls and kept on meditating on diversity but there was no result. At first they didn't even notice that the process took longer than expected and because of divine patience the meditation went on for days .... and days .... and days.

Nobody can tell if it had been weeks, months or years, but after a long time one member of the pantheon raised his voice. And it was the voice of beautiful Tersea which echoed through the divine halls. One does not know the exact words she was using, but rumors tell she mentioned something about time and efficiency of labor. Holy Tersea wasn't satisfied with the ongoing process - just imagine what the pantheon could have created in a few weeks or months. Yet they didn't create anything at all these days because they just continued with their meditation - on and on.

After Tersea had broken the silence a lively discussion started. Kokini implied that one member of the pantheon was not working with the required degree of concentration. According to her this was the most plausible explanation for the lack of result. Sartan yelled that this was the first time the meditation process ever got interrupted and he was quite upset about it. In fact this was the first (and the last) time the pantheon had a disagreement during such an important phase of creation. The holy white halls trembled and earth started to shake as the mighty gods disputed.

In the end it was Ramsus, the divine leader, who made an end to the discussion. To console the pantheon and in order to ease the situation he simply ordered a new creation to take place. Each member of the pantheon was encouraged to take part in the working process and together they created something entirely new. They created mankind.

Wisdom and power, strength and the wish to conquer, a complex mind and the ability to argue, the potential to create a society and the urge to do business. Everything was present in the new concept of mankind and the pantheon was consoled and happy once again.

May Ramus guide us, may Sartan strengthen your arm, may Tersea lead you to glory and may Kokini smile upon you.
