This was sent to a few interested Nobles to explain the faith of the Church of Ibladesh. Versions of this are used more often when needed.

Letter from Richard Telrunya
Let me tell you about the basics of the beliefs of the Church of Ibladesh, so you know what our Religion is about. You can find more information through our Church and of course, I will be happy to answer any questions you have.

First, the Church of Ibladesh originates from Ibladesh, but as you see, also has followers in other Realms. There is also a Church dedicated to one of the Gods in the Far East, which is like a sister Religion. They are mostly from Sartania, but have substantial followers in other Realms too.

There exists four Gods: Ramsus, the Overlord, Patron god of Leaders and Mentors; Sartan, God of War, patron god of Warriors and Heroes; Tersea, God of Trade and Economics, patron god of Traders and Courtiers; Kokini, God of Stealth and Mischief, patron god of Infiltrators and anyone looting.

Those four gods lead our lives. They often work in mysterious ways, guiding Nobles to make sure they do the right thing or aid others, but only revealing the information they need at that time. I myself have witnessed this guidance, which for example guided me to the Far East, land of the Church of Sartan, which concentrates on worshipping Sartan. This guidance was a mere urge to move to the Far East. I only knew I had to sail to the Far East, where I figured out I had to join Sartania. I did not know what was expected of me or what I had to do, but once there I figured that out and helped out this Church to get the followers on the right path again.

Sometimes the Gods also take more direct approaches, but this is rare and only done when needed. Followers are usually expected to accept and follow the guidance of the Gods without knowing what their ultimate goal is. For we must trust our Gods to lead us well.

Those that honour the Gods and follow their path well receive the blessings of the Gods. Of course, those blessings aren't direct, but you will notice it. For example, follow Sartan well and please him and you will see that you will do better on the battlefield, while your enemies seem to put up little resistance. Entire Realms receiving those blessings will truly prosper. However, with such aid also comes responsibility. Fail to honour the Gods, be swayed by temptations while knowing you shouldn't be doing it, and you will receive their punishment. Those that are the closest to the Gods are also the ones that are subject to the most punishment should they deliberately fail to follow the right path. Non-believers for example are treated less severe, since they have yet to realize the truth in the first place.

The Gods always work with a reason. They will not play around and cause distress. Should something happen as per the will of the Gods, they will have a justified reason for that. Therefore, it's always important to not blind yourself from the truth. If you see things are going bad, then that might mean you're not following the Gods properly. In such cases, it's time to ask the Gods for forgiveness and guidance to what to do. Failure to realize that can lead to disastrous things can can even lead to one's downfall. The Gods generally test you and give you warnings first though, so to be sure that the punishments are justified.

Of course, that also means if you see things going well, that you're doing something good. That means you honour the Gods properly and you should continue to do what you were doing. Be sure to thank the Gods for their blessings and don't take their aid for granted or claim it to be your accomplishments instead of theirs.

In the Church of Ibladesh you generally follow one of the Gods. You will devote your life to that God, but of course you will not forget about the other Gods. Your accomplishments in the area of your Patron God will get you promoted among the Ranks, which reflects how much the Gods favour you, which means you can sometimes receive their blessings when you need it. High-ranking Followers can also expect blessings of the other Gods, should they have not forgotten to honour them too.

You now know the basics of our Religion and know enough to follow the Gods properly. You can learn more regarding specific Gods, the history, origins and tales of guidance once you're part of the Church of Ibladesh (And I'm here to answer any questions you have too).

May Ramsus guide you, may Sartan strengthen your arm, may Tersea lead you to glory and may Kokini smile upon you,
