Rumour also has it that the buffoon who was unfortunately chosen to announce you is to be hung for his performance. In Giblot such offenses usually are met with a sound beating and sometimes a brand to assure that the guilty is never again entrusted with language skills.
Word is that the performance was quite unpleasant to behold, but now it seems the event is bringing much merriment in most taverns. | You may want to scavenge the battlefield, since the smithy is closed. I was able to replace quite a bit of my units damaged armor, and a notched sword with a better one. I certainly hope Lukon's strategy is not to cause so much damage that we are forced to return to Giblot for repairs. | |

You may have a point. The Lukon 'soldiers' seemed to be throwing their bodies at our weapons in a desperate attempt to damage our weapons on their bones. On the other hand, this is their usual tactic, so I can't say for sure. Either way, I don't think my unit can take too much more damage of this degree. We should probably have a very small number of units returning to refit daily, so as to keep ourselves fresh. | |

| Members of Giblot... todays battle at sunrise was just the beginning of what could be a very long war.
Those of you who have been here for a long time know that once Lukon starts something they put all of their resources behind it and that gives them as much time as they want. Tomorrow morning our enemies will once again assault the gates of Outer Tilog City and once again we will do all we can to repel them. If we can send Lukon home tomorrow then we shall get a few days of breathing time as they return home and come back once again to assault us. Please be sure to set you troops to defensive. No one should leave these walls unless they have to. My own troops will stand with you on the walls. I will you all good luck and godspeed. | |
