Ryan, the first of the Beberwyck family to join the military, joined Ubent to fight Ibladesh and Itorunt. He worked hard, and fought harder. However, Ubent had fallen from it's glory days, and was no longer a match for the combined armies of Yssaria, Ibladesh, and Itorunt. A peace treaty was soon signed, and Ubent shrank even more. Ryan was promoted to Marshal of the Army of Castle Ubent and charged with protecting the regions of Ubent from invaders and monsters. Ryan gained a good deal of diplomatic skill with this new position as he had to talk with many realm rulers about troop leaders moving through Ubent. Ryan was elected as Grand Justicar.
Ryan Stepped down from his government roles after finding faith in an old mountain religion, long since dead. Ryan founded the main temple of Sagarmathism in Bursa, and soon had 2 other preachers to help spread the teachings of Sagarmatha.
Having decided that the religion was doing well, Ryan decided to stop preaching and become a Martyr for his religion. He would command troops again, in the name of Sagarmatha.
Ryan was recently elected Prime Minister of Ubent.
