Avalon/Roleplay Section/Kain/First Night in Cteduul

Kain enters his tent in Cteduul to sleep for a while before he starts the night travel till Henhower with his five men under his command to fight against the Undead lords. He knows he will soon meet again the brother of his blood-brothers Laia and Zyfer again

The hero sits down and gets the his cloak off. He's not tired but he knows that if he doesn't sleep he may not be fully prepared for battle tomorrow.

He lies on his bed and remembers his first visit to the capital of the realm of Avalon....Cteduul.

Kain enters the city from the Southeast where the rich part is. Soon he arrives till the palace of Dean, the duke of such a nice city. After a short and nice dialogue between both avaloniën he has to leave, because the travel towards Henhower is long and he has to sleep for a while before starting.

The hero continues his visit through the capital seeing the taberns full of happy people anjoy the beer of high quality produced in Lacint, which is also very cheap.

It's getting dark and Kain sits down in a bank to enjoy the night of the capital. He's sitting in one of the most dangerous suburbs of the city allthough he doesn't know.

His black cloak doesn't let recognize his metal mask which hides the real face already wounded by so many battles.

The bank seems to be confortable and he nearly falls asleep. But then he notices how five men are walkin in his direction. The one who is nearer to Kain has an axe in his hand. Two men behind him have daggers in his hands and the rest have got simple metal sticks.

"Are you having a good night, bagger? You have like two options: give us everything you have (including your clothes) or give us some entertainment killing you." sais the one with the axe

"I think you're wrong gentlemen, i'm kind of important in this realm and me and my troops are saving your..."

But the hero can't finish his phrase. Two daggers fly through the street towards him. Kain closes his eyes and concentrates for a moment. When he opens his eyes he's already in the 'Battle Instinct'.... And the daggers are still flying in his direction.

In the upper side of his right hand he has got two little metal lances as a kind of claw. With a quick move he reaches to hit both daggers which start flying again through the street without direction.

The one with the axe gets angry and throws him the deathly weapon. Kain gets the axe in his left hand without stopping.

"Enough..." sais the hero.

He jumps over the man who just throw the axe and with a quick movement of his legs he gets his head between the knees and turns around till the neck brakes. While turning he streches his left hand so that the axe he just caught cuts the head of one of the dagger man. After the body falls Kain throws this axe towards the second dagger man making him fall on the ground with a broken thorax.

While Kain's running towards the fourth man this man gets his stick and tries to hit him twice without hitting him, the hero gets his own double bladed sword and turning around himself twice the fourth man don't even seems to have been one once.

He walks towards the fifth man and sais:

"Next time you should let finish someone when he's talking..." "Sorry sir, i didn't wanted to..."

He can't finish his phrase because both little lances in his upper right hand are now sticked in his throat.

"I just told you to let me finish... I waqs telling i'm the one who saves you from undead and monsters..."

But the man can't listen the last phrase anymore.

Finally Kain leaves the streets of the north-west suburbs of Cteduul to reach his tent to sleep.

After having lcleaned his weapons he thinks: "If this is the civilisated capital... how are going to be the regions around? I'm anxious to se them....". The hero finally sleeps...
