Official Views of other Religions

The Order of the Druids does not much concern themselves with religions that mean no harm, or simply believe differntly than us. But we are concerned with misleading or Evil religions. They do not serve man well, and we seek to identify and protect those whom are misled by those religions.

  • The Church of Qyrvagg -

  • - Evil
This religion is the epitomy of Evil. They desire war unending and seek destruction and conquering. This is completely opposite and in the views of the Druids is the begining, middle and end of Evil. The Druids focus is on stopping wars, and preventing the spread of evil. If war is the focus, the Druids have no choice but to view this as evil. If they were to clarify their stance or renounce war and destruction for the sake of glory, then we would change our stance.
  • The Old Gods

  • - Ignored
This religion not evil. They worship many gods, and lesser gods. This is contrary to our belief that one Devine god created us and lives among us, assisting in our studies and advancement of mankind. However, we choose to just ignore this religion.
  • The Path of the Great Dragon

  • - Evil
This religion is definately misguided and borderline evil. For one, Dragons are of the Netherworld, and help spread Evil. Second, the religion speaks of Monsters and Undead in service to the Dragon, although quoted as evil. Although they appear to seek to protect mankind as do the Druids, which is what makes this religion on the border of Misguided and Evil, but it is our belief they are evil.
  • The Valentic Order

  • - VARIATION
This religion appears to be of a knightly honor. We believe it to be not quite what we believe by putting too much trust in its men. It does speak of evil traits as being against their beliefs, thus, we believe them to be honorable, and of well intent, However they don't quite have the same focus of doing the Devine one's desires. However, they are close enough in theory that we can call them a variation of the Druids.
  • Hemaism

  • - Misguided
This religion seeks war, and to fight against those who do not serve them. Druids believe wars happen but that seeking war, or waging war, without provocation is evil.
  • Omniovoism

  • - IGNORED
This religion appears to worship all things natural and in particular, an egg. It is hard to determine if this is an actual religion. This does no harm to man, and in some cases focuses on a deeper source of life and Nature. But, the Order's official view, as of now, is to ignore it.
  • Hedoism

  • - IGNORED
This religion is the focus on one's pleasure, and not something Druid's think is high on the priority chain. Therefore, we simply ignore this religion. It is on the border of misguided, however.
  • Ragnarok

  • - IGNORED
We know nothing of this religion.
  • Devine Order of Mentism

  • - Variant
This religion appears to believe in a single Devine one, like the Druids, and teaches forgiveness and understanding, therefore, we believe this to be a variation of the Druid Order.
  • Yggdrasili

  • - IGNORED
We know nothing of this religion.
  • Eretzism

  • - IGNORED
Little is known about this religion, however they appear to believe in a god or multiple gods, and they also appear to believe in showing respect an honor. At present, we ignore this religion.

As the Order is fluid, and always in motion, our oppinions on other religions is just the same. If we ever find evil in a religion, then we will denounce it immediately. We are flexible and willing to change our views if evidence is properly introduced.
